Helmets and hats make characters bald, in the best case scenario. Recently I’ve found a few that actually remove the models, like so

I would love to see a fix, perhaps a hair piece that is the same color as the characters hair, but looks tucked in.

I cringe when I see my chars bald on the char selection screen.

Its a clipping thing. Easier to remove the hair model completely when wearing a helmet than to have to go in and individually edit each hairstyle in combination with each helmet in order to display the hair along with the helm.

While it would certainly be nice to have helmets and hair combined, the amount of work it would take (considering the dozens of hairstyles and helmets in the game, almost all of which can combine with one another) means it probably won’t happen.

I know that’s right grrrl! mmhmm gotta show my hurr even with a helmet on my thief! It’s fierce and because I use such good Asuran product, it moves when i dodge too, I want all the boys to see it! No point in havin a kit to get your hurr did if you can’t show it off!

Bought a top hat with gems for my long-haired toon.

The thing is, there USED be hair under your helmets before the patch around halloween. For some completely unknown reason, this was removed and replaced with baldness.

Yeah, for a game & company that prides itself on art & the value of art to games, there are a TON of clipping, over-scaling,strangely proportioned, corner-cutting visual issues.

This is absolutely not true. Most head wear in GW2 has ALWAYS made your character bald.

Aye but a game thats basically saying its all about the cosmetics cant take shortcuts in that dept. Its lazy.

Myst, you can preview all the gear available in the gem store. Just so you avoid future disasters.
