When reporting a character name no option is given to explain the report. As such if reporting a character because they named their pet something offensive, but don’t themselves have an inappropriate name, there is no way to get that across.

There should at least be a text block so the reporter can explain what’s going on

There is also no real way to report a “hacker”,bot or exploit is not a “hacker” imo. I saw this guy flying a while guy,i reported him as Exploiter,but now hes on some Long kitten exploit list and god knows how long it’l take for them to even realize hes a hacker and not just an exploiter…anyways,yeah more options needed to report people Properly.

I saw a norn male mesmer flying in Orr, that was really funny. I got to admin. Than he used a mesmer teleport to get us all on a building. Such a troll. I don t know if this is an exploit or a hack. But it was some months ago. I did not report him, because he was friendly and was saying LOL.

Found someone who called his pet “Pootaster” what would be literally I think the translation of “Kotnascher”, what is again in german something for someone/thing who/what eats kitten

I find it sad, that there seems to be no word filter in general when naming pets

I agree, I have brought this up before about the lack of report features. You cannot report offensive pet names, offensive guild names – I believe I saw one called [Dick] once, players who spam choir bells or the multitude of trolls. Trolls get away with so much because a lot of the time they are not offensive but annoying so you cannot report them for spamming, scamming, botting, etc.

Well if you are my Dick then I am your Bruce. (a +1 if you get the reference) I don’t find it that offensive myself but the things that get blocked by this word filter is ridiculous. I bet there is a guild called kitten out there too, I guess that one would be in the filter.

People need to really learn who is Hacker. It’s just so annoying to see the word flung around by people who have no idea what it means and who it is.

Also most people confuse Cracker with Hacker.

Please people, if you use the internet that often at least learn such basic stuff.

Reminds me of the undead kitten Clerics in GW1, had the full name on the health bar but censored it if you called the target. Anyway yes we need more report options.

EDIT Really Anet? its a word thats not only a mob name in gw1 but an exotic axe in in this game also i can’t link the axe because you censor it, but Rangers can name their pets whatever they want?

they can’t name them whatever they want. for example “shaguar” (the car from austin powers in case it is blocked) is censored. you can’t expect a swear filter to block every word in any language that uses the english alphabet.
