Hello everyone,

I’ve an issue with the last patch. Since my provider caps to 1Gb a day the downloaded data I cannot update to latest version. Interrupting and resuming the process later is to no avail since the client restarts from the beginning. So here goes my suggestion(s)

- Add a “resume” function to the client
- Provide a link for a manual download (with download managers you can split the process on different occasions)

Kind regards and sorry for my bad english ^^

The client doesn’t restart from the beginning when it downloads a patch.

If the download is not complete yes (or at least is what happens to me)
It resumes only if you don’t close the client

You are capped at 1gb a day? Christ, that sucks!

Where is your bandwidth reset time? Maybe time your download to around then so it resets when you are 1/2 way done.

The update size was approximately 1.4 GB, but a lot of changes were implemented.

The client doesn’t restart from the beginning when it downloads a patch.

The client shows a progression bar for the files remaining to download. It doesn’t download again all the files it already got last time you launched it.

You are right :/ I’ve been fooled by the large amount of files remaining but it keeps diminishing after each reset. Showing the amount of data left instead of the one downloaded should heve been more helpful.

@Air: that was my backup plan. Download a part, wait for the counter to reset with the client open, download the rest. I can take things easier it seems.

Thanks for the advice and sorry for the inconvenience.
We can end here. Bye!
