I personally, of my own choice and out of my enjoyment for this game, have easily spent over $1000 on gems in the last six months. I think it would be cool if Anet recognized it’s loyal customers with a title or gift once an amount was reached. I’m not looking to start a negative spiral. If you don’t agree that is okay with me.

They already do. I’ve got a kite, before that there was the holo-minipack, I suppose there will be more. They recognize you with gifts.
