My Suggestion: Read Our Suggestions
Except for the very small and tight knit games, rare is it to ever see a developer comment on something in the suggestions forums.
Developers probably don’t read this. That’s what the community staff is for. They read and filter everything the community says, and pass it on to the developers.
You can rest assured that if you post something worthy, they will hear about it. But the devs don’t have time to respond to all these threads. They have better things to do.

Better things to do? A better thing to do is making sure people get their moneys worth of this game. -_-
I’ve seen dozens suggestions affect the game, even when there was no reply in the thread. Don’t worry, the suggestions are being read by the staff.
They just don’t always appear in the form that was suggested, ANet usually wants to come up with something more creative than what your average player seems to suggest, and they also need to make sure the new mechanisms / changes / events fit the game.
People who can’t tend to call the opponent troll, scream something utterly incomprehensible
and finally result to personal insults.

Better things like improving the game. I didn’t pay to have them chat with me on the forums. I paid for a game. The devs make the game. Let them do that.
I think Suggestions section was made to vent disappointment and nothing more.
the only suggestion they give is “infracted” when u try to get an answer.
i really have no idea, ain’t the staffs trained to help customers instead of just arranging forums and merging threads? shouldnt the staffs be have knowledge to assist ppl..?
No..? coz all i see is “this thread hav been merge” or " yr post have been infracted".
the devs dont need to respond, they have people for that,a simple “were looking at it,im passing the info to the devs”,Would be a nice start, ive honestly seem some great suggestions here, but no word if anything is ever gonna be done with them. Then whats the point of this section of the forum tbh ? Other then giving us the illusion that we have some say in the game.
Do they really need to hold your hand and give you a kiss on the cheek for you to feel like your feedback has been heard?

I don’t think you’ve been around here for very long. ANet does, every once in a while, do exactly what you said. It’s rare, I agree, but its better than producing delusional people in forums thinking that every suggestion is “about to get in the game” since “they’re looking at it.” Secondly, I’ve seen dozens of suggestions get in the game in one way or another. Most originating from this very forum.

I don’t want devs to respond to every suggestion, obviously they have better things to do.
What I am really asking for in this post is for a forum mod to simply respond to the most active suggestions that have been positively received by the player base. There are dozens of suggestions that have been around since the betas and are cluttering this forum because someone brings them up on a daily basis. (ex. Last Login in Guild, Duels, changes to WvW Commanders, out-of-combat weapon swap for ele/engi)
Anyone who frequents this forum knows that some suggestions have been brought up hundreds of times. I think it would be nice if we received an official response about any of these suggestions, because it would reduce the number of suggestions and allow future suggestions to be more relevant instead of constantly reiterating the same things.

There is nothing a mod can say in one of these threads to stop others from reposting.
How many suggestions there have been about guild halls and player housing after it was stated that they’re coming? (Which was like forever ago btw. EDIT: Here is the date: 29 August 2011 – 04:21 AM)
It is helpful to take Eric’s full statement into account.
He mentioned that there will be no Guild Halls on release as we want to make Guild Halls a great experience and not just a “place”. We will introduce player housing at some point after launch, and at that time we will also implement guild halls.
