Necromancer great-sword build; idea..
(I couldn’t figure out the math toward your stats so didn’t want to include any numeric figures but I decided instead to use a 1-5 scale to comparatively show the damage of the skills.)

Chain 1, Hexing Gash: Damage3 Range-150. (1/2 sec cast time.)
Bleed 1stack, duration 8 seconds
Chain 2, Hexing Divide: Damage4 Range-150. (3/4 sec cast time.)
Vulnerability 1stack, duration 8 seconds
Chain 3, Hexing Agony: Damage2 Range-240. (1 sec cast time.)
Bleed 2stacks, duration 5 seconds
(AOE Horizontal Sweeping Arc)

Skill 2
Soul Barbs: Damage3(x2) Radius- 150. (2 sec cast time [8s cd])
Retaliation 4 seconds
Combo Finisher: Whirl

Skill 3
Insidious Parasite: Damage1 Range- 600. (1/2 sec cast time [15s cd])
Teleport to target foe
Life Steal 0.5 per second for 6 seconds Life Force 1% per second for 6 seconds

Skill 4
Lifebane Strike: Damage5 Range- 800. (1 sec cast time [20s cs])
If target foe is above 50% health also Poison duration 8 seconds

Fiendish Hate: Damage3 Radius- 240. (1 sec cast time [40s cs])

Drop the condtions, necromancer needs viable non condtion weapons, they are fine with scepter and staff.

Yes, axe is the only useful power weapon for them and they need more. Conditions aren’tcutting it in WvW.

Also please do 1h sword or something, I feel like greatswords are so overused.

1h sword would be cool as well. I just like using greatswords so thought Id throw an Idea out there.

Yeah I’d like to see it eventually, I just feel when I walk into Lion’s Arch the most common weapon I’ll see is a greatsword, I’d like One Handed swords for a little variety.

That and the fact that I can wield an axe, but not a 1 handed sword? It just doesn’t make much sense to me, I could at least see not being able to properly wield a greatsword from a story standpoint, but I was very surprised when I found I couldn’t use 1h swords.

I would like to see both Greatsword and Sword on my necro. I recently got Twilight on my guard but when I previewed it on my fully Arah clad necro, she looked so darn kitten!

I also want the Stygian Blade because it matches my other weapons so well (Malefacterym and Eye of Rodgort) – I’m all about the looks, can you tell? :P
