I want to suggest more alternative ways to purchase Obsidian Shards with karma, given it’s probably the most cost efficient way to purchase those, however being limited to only one supplier which Tactician Deathstrider who is only available in Temple of Balthazar in Straits of Devastation when the main event has been completed and it’s uncontested.

This is probably no news flash, but this temple’s events are much less frequented by players considering the map in question is not level 80 and may theoretically pose a ‘lesser challenge’ or weaker rewards than a temple in Malchor’s Leap for example, and because of this it becomes frustrating to try finding a party to defeat the Temple in Orrian’s possession or wait for it to be uncontested, and to see how ridiculous it gets, I usually try to guest in another high populated server (I’m in Seafarer’s Rest [EU]) not even there the temple is uncontested.

Is it then possible to have Obsidian Shards sold by all Karma merchants across Orr, much like the Lost Orrian Jewelry boxes?

Completely agree with OP. Would be a great addition. Either that or make the Temple of Balthazar final meta event easier to accomplish with smaller numbers since the problem usually is the lack of people around to complete the event.

Yes they do, in an incredibly low chance which is unjustified when you can purchase them directly for 2,100 karma.

Obsidian shards are so much easier to get than the rest of a legendary already unless ur RMT’ing ur gold.
