Steam Dragon…could be the Asuran dude finds a dragon…uses his steam buddies to capture him and turn him to a Steam Dragon and sends him through a giant portal for us to fight.

That would kill a plot line on one of the dragons… there’s only 6 of them…

yea an I take it we’ll eventually kill them all…dude could “resurrect” one or “mash up” a bunch of creatures to make one…he’d be a “fake” dragon

Also there’s more than 6 dragons…don’t forget elder Dragons have Champions likeThe Claw of Jormag…no one ever said the steam dragon had to be an elder dragon and on top of that the Champions have heralds…like The Great Destroyer.

And earlier we knew that there were only 4
Nothing confirms that there are not more than those 6.

Actually, if this dragon were to be released (in the current state of game) it would be a fractal boss.

This is due to the steam creatures being created by Asura in an alternate dimension with which portals through time and space rip out and allow them to transport to our dimension.

However, another option could be a more in-depth look at personal storylines (or just opening up personal storylines to other choices allowing you to look at and fight implications of their continuance without the player having been there to make the changes).

Again, in the current iteration of the game, it would only make sense in a fractal.

Before we implement any childisch rediculous more obsolete dragons, please let us first fight all of the current known ones

We have just fought yet only Zhaitan, theres still first Jormag, Primordus, Kralkatorrik and Mordremoth to go of the known ones and then theres stil lthe yet still unknown (whyever anets makes such a fuss about that one) deep sea dragon.

However that are only the current 6 known tyrian elder dragons. We have absolutely no clue, if anet might let arise more new dragons somwhere else in the huge planet of Tyria, maybe in Cantha or Elona too

I’m absolute sure, that we will hopefully never see something totally absurd in GW2, like a Steam Dragon … this here is not Godzilla, where we fight against huge monsters with huge robots >.>

Lol..I wouldn’t put this past the Anet crew to do it…I mean if you played all of GW1 then you fought Shiro twice…once in factions and again in Nightfall, and on top of that look at a lot of the core GW bosses over the years. they’re all pretty big.

A;so keep in mind this is just a suggestion….plus it’s like I said earlier this Asuran dude is hell bent on world domination, what better way to go about it than taking control of a dragon and improving it with extra laser cannons .

They are still just as much Dragons as the Elder ones.

But then again for all we know the Elder Dragons are not actually Dragons either.

They still arent dragons though. Just constructs, minions. They resemble the dragon because they are dragon champions. Not dragon champions.

Anyway, a steam dragon could be easily installed. Just have it created by a crazy Asura that want to take over the world :p

As in the champions OF the dragons. Read the list of what counts as a dragon champion. Eyes/mouths of zhaitan? Nornbear? Herboza?

And yet several of them ARE dragons.

We got Glint, The Great Destroyer, Claw of Jormag, The Shatterer, Drakkar, Tequatl the Sunless, Ogravros the Moondeath, Fafnarin the Heartslayer, and Horrogos the Soulbreaker.which are ALL dragons.

Yes as the wiki states there are dragons that are of a CHAMPION class…which is different than the regular in game champions in GW2…and yes there are some that aren’t dragons. Sure, it may be cool to do something else other than a dragon…but so far the strongest creatures we’ve faced in game is a dragon.

I suggested something similar before. More Steam Creatures are a must, more varied models, abilities etc… Large dragon ones would definitely be cool but obviously more difficult to implement, but of course going down the Elder Dragon route is a stretch that may be too far.
