I know that everyone else knows that Anet in their divine wisdom has gone and nerfed all the T6 mat drops all to nothing and I for one am very upset cause I am working very kitten multiple legendaries and play for 6-8 hours a day and some people think that this is a way to get players to play more, I don’t know why but I think it is kind of dumb.

So, I think it would be a good idea to make T6 mats and maybe other mats available on a vendor that we could buy with some kind of currency, maybe Karma or something.
And yes I know there are mats on the Laurel vendor but doing the daily just for 3 T6 mats don’t seem worth it to me, if they increased the amount of mats in the Laurel vendor bags it might seem worth it but 3 mats isn’t worth it imho. I think we should have more options and Anet has taken everything from us.

That’s how I ground out my Ascended Quiver. Granted that’s not a Legendary. I think it’s pretty much Guaranteed that’s not going to happen. I’m honestly amazed that they never nerfed the T6 Mat bag from the Laurel vender. Getting three mats, just for having played each day seems pretty amazing to me.

There’s no evidence of this. The demand for T6 mats is very high and the drop rates have always been low. A lot of people have started to realize you don’t have to farm mats, but can farm gold instead — that tends to reduce the supply of mats and increase their price. Similarly, a lot more people can now afford to forge or craft things requiring T6 mats which is affecting the demand, again putting pressure to increase prices.

I don’t know about nerfing the mat drop rate, but they have definately gone out of their way to reduce the number of drop worthy sites. I don’t farm Mats so I wouldn’t have even noticed if not for a similar thread in which someone proclaimed the Skelk spawn in Southsun to be the premier location for Mat farming only to have that specific spawn reduced in the patch just a few days later.
