Would really open up some options if everyone could use the other races cultural armor!

Your never going to be able to wear other races cultural armor. If you could that would kill the whole point.

Because the human can’t wear Asuran clothes? It doesn’t make much sense for a race to wear clothes made for another race

How is this discrimination when you as a player can still have access to the armor? By what you say then ever profession should be able to use all weapons. It is called making choices.

Because the human can’t wear Asuran clothes? It doesn’t make much sense for a race to wear clothes made for another race

I would love to see how a Norn would fit into tiny Asuran clothes

Hey, I am 6’2 and they make kimonos normally that are for 4’0-5’2 size fit me, I imagine asura being so smart can make norn sized cloths.

A human in Sylvari armour = a pot head [couldn’t resist]

Charr can wear Ascalon dungeon armor, which is what there ancestors wore, then go around ruins where people visit and dance on the human’s graves.

Humans can wear Flame Legion Armor and dance around Black Citadel, laughing and nothing happens.

Humans can wear Twilight Arbor (sylvari) Armor and dance around the grove laughing, and nothing happens.

Asura can wear honor of the waves armor and look like a norn, dancing in hoelbrak and drinking beer.

I believe your complaint is kind of useless now.

But a presidence was already started for Charr wearing and using human artifacts for trophies. See Rytlocks sword But i figured spending 3 minutes of research on a topic before speaking would be over kill for you. P.S. this does not hold true for humans.

Dungeon armour is more of a thank you from a race for helping them finishing a task. It’s an acceptance of your races ability to commune with a race. Its like me going to Japan and being presented with a traditional wardrobe and a medal for some heroic deed. Does that mean i’m a full blown samurai entitled to wear traditional samurai wardrobe on a daily basis? umm no?

Hell one better, if you still don’t understand.

I can wear a crucifix any day, does that mean I should be able to dress up as a priest? bishop? cardinal or pope? they all wear crucifixes why cant i wear their garbs? by your example its the same thing

If I wear a kippa does that give me the right to wear full rabbi garments and run around pretending to be a rabbi ?

If I wear camo does that mean i get to decorate my self in pins and ribbons and walk on a base and pretend to be a General?

If I put feathers in my hair do I have the right to call my self a Cherokee Chief?

Most of the Dungeon set armor is the armor of the common enemy, FYI charr wont care if your flaunting a trophy of your enemy ;-).

Sylvari still love the nightmare court just wont allow them to corrupt the pale tree, it is like loving the mentally challenged cousin in your family and letting them ride he bus but not letting them drive it. ( not saying you have a mentally challenged cousin )

The Asuara co-exists with the Inquest in the same city and yet they are always fighting.

To wear the armor of your enemy as a trophy and to wear the armor of your allies culture is another.

Then again enough with systematic how about this for an answer to your question.

Arena Net say’s no cause they want you to play all the races not just one. Nuff said end of story ;-)

im with you man arenanet should let us use others cultural armor, and for the people that are trolling , i have reasons why
1) my main character is a charr and i dislike the starting outfits for him they just dont look right on my opinion went to cultural armor n i had to transmute tier1 into 2 well some parts of the armor same in tier 3 i just didnt like the look on some of the parts.

2)given players the option to use other races cultural armor will make players creating new characters the drive to go to this lands just for those armors, and also for the collection .

3)who says having more options is bad, im looking at an mmo which means i will b playing for a long time i dont want to be looking the same for a whole year DO YOU>>>???

How is saying that Arena Net ( presumably ) made culture armors to the race only, to make it so people would more inclined to make other races than stay with one trolling? Is it trolling cause we disagree or is it trolling cause we are giving our opinion?

How so, cause at this point only allowing a certain race to wear that armor is a pretty good incentive to creating a new character. And how will allowing you to purchase Norn armor on your human or charr pursade you to make a new charr just to have their armor?

Right now you have options, not really sure how your not seeing you don’t? Other than you only like X race and no other and want all the armors on one toon or race.

Look I don’t really care if they allow you to wear another cultures armor I really don’t, I just don’t see why you need to do it. Or why it needs to be done, when all you have to do is make a new character of that race. Unless of course you only have one character on your account and no other well then not sure what to say.

The cultural armors were specifically designed for the races. They’d have to remake every piece of cultural armor for every other race (there’s no way an Asura’s clothing could NOT be stretched to hell and back worn on a Norn). That’s just not feasible.

Worst idea I’ve seen was to allow the Total Makeover Kit able to gender change sans any option to name change. Oh well, as many have said.. “at least it’s free”.
