WvWvW and its current state
Part of the problem is you have three maps that are identical, as well as stupid pve crap thrown in (jump puzzles and pve events). These are the kinds of things that need some changes. That so many are worried about doing a jump puzzle for medals rather than fighting is another symptom of the problem.
I would suggest eliminating the PVE stuff entirely, and give us more maps/objectives to take. Also medals should only be given off of PVP kills or major objectives forcing those who want them to go to war, and not run around jumping from rock to rock.
See I too came over from DAOC… and much prefer a non linear open world pvp enviorment to the linear arena style (sPVP). So would definatly like to see more improvements in the WvW direction.
I would like to point out the parralel in PVE acended gear. people were asking for more progression, areanet added more progression, people vcomplained about it.

yup ur right there a ton of the issue is people wasteing time doing puzzles and pveing i do love the whole idea with the WvW but as i said gets extremely boring really fast hell having the ranking system alone even if no rewards tied to it would make it 1000x better just something to do once max lvl in WvW
please remove pve POIs and maybe relocate the EB jump puzzle to the server spawn points, as they will be easily accessible then. vista’s i have been koay with, because they seem out of the way enough from a battle, you really only have to contend with NPCs or other players going for it, as well.
as kittenn as it is to be an easy way for the opposing zerg to get points/badges, it is not kittenn for the lone PvE player(s) trying to get completion.
cannot run around WvW nekkid to show my lack of wanting to battle, because i just die faster from falls and zerg players. cannot announce my intention in chat, as then i basically give myself away to players. the only way i found was to join the zerg, but i don’t do enough damage to warrant trying to help.
maybe i should have kept all of those animal potions….
