… when will WvW players get the possibilitiy to aquire obsidian shards and dungeon gifts within WvW to be able to work towards their legendary without doing what they doint like to do (i exclude world completion here as both need to do that)

You already get karma and laurels in WvW.

okay, well obsidian shards not then, still missing the dungeon gifts, as laurels are something mutual aswell then :P

but beside that, karma isnt really viable as there is no karma npc in wvw that sells those :P

To be fair, there’s no badge npc in PvE that sells Gifts of Battle either

Pretty funny. I worked to get my WvW badges for armor and I worked for my dungeon tokens for gear. So why should a PvE player work for their dungeon tokens but not have to work for WvW badges?

you pretty much nailed it. the 5k ach chest today gave me 500 badges, thats your gift of battle right there I didnt sum up all the badges in the chests up to here but I dont think there’s much to argue about, that you dont have to actually WvW (or run with the blob) to get the badges

that chest are providing somekind of award for all 3 types of playing – don’t forget that it gives bunch of PvE boosters, and bunch of PvP skins (and that second without even playing sPvP)
and WvW players also get those badges so… :P
btw as for me everything would be right if only all stats from dungeons was available for badges (magi for quick example) – and maybe skins.

when I said work, I really meant earn. PvE players earn tokens through dungeons, WvW earns badges through WvWorlding.

But you said work. And I’m not working in GW2. Why would I? I’ve already got 10 hours a day covered with work.

if you can have world completion than surely you can have a wp to balthazar temple, and in wvwvw enough karma to buy the obsidian shards.

as for dungeon tokens… i think dungeoning is not considered really pve by pve players…
