get me out of combat already..
This is working as intended. A viable strategy is to wear down your enemy while being able to drop combat yourself. This is by design.
If you create a build that has no way to remove conditions you are forcing this weakness upon yourself. If you fail to add defenses to your build, you only have yourself to blame for losing to this valid and viable strategy.
BTW, I play a warrior, the class specifically designed to have conditions as our major weakness, this is why any and every serious warrior keeps “shake it off” on our bars.
Pretty sure that stealthing does not break aggro. At least it doesn’t for my Thief. However, it is possible for Thieves to get a ton of HP back via stuff like Hide in Shadows, Shadow’s Rejuvenation and Shadow Protector
The thing is, going out of combat any sooner would bring some serious issues. PvP would basically be reduced into kiting so that you go out of combat for full health and spiking your opponent to death.
Personally, the only time I’ve ran into issues with conditions has been Risen Hylek with their lengthy Poison and Risen Gorillas with their lengthy Cripple. I mean, those mobs die in less than 10 seconds and yet they can leave you with like a minute of a condition.

i hate that when i killed all of the enemy’s but your still in combat for a like a couple of minutes after and there nothing around that will attack you the best way i find to cancel the combat is to log off to the character choose screen then log back on

This is the REAL problem with “in-combat/out-combat.” For some reason the game will still think you are in combat even after all conditions are removed and you’ve healed yourself to full. It keeps us from using way points and going to PvP and WvWvW.
It is just as bad as the LOS problem.

Your suggestion would be very flawed. Let’s say you’re fighting a champion along side a large group of players. The champion gives you a poison condition, then proceed to target another player. This would actually mean breaking combat, removing conditions, and healing back to full hp simply because the mob is not “engaging” you anymore. That would be illogical.
