I’ve seen that other people report not receiving any gifts from Tixx when they spoke to him in Lion’s Arch, but I actually did get the gifts the first time.

Just now, though, I received a second set of gifts from Tixx via in-game mail. What’s up with that?

I’ll admit that I don’t mind at all the thought of having two 15-slot boxes, but it doesn’t seem fair that I should get two while others might not have even one. I’m also worried that this is a bug and that one of those boxes will be yanked away from me shortly. So now I don’t feel safe putting anything in either box.

Has anyone else received gifts in the mail like this? Anyone else now have double gifts as a result?

I think they sent the gifts to everyone because some people didn’t get them when they talked to Tixx. So yes, now you have two 15-slot boxes, and enough cogs to make a third minipet when some do not. I cannot imagine however that you will be punished for that, as many, many others will be in the same situation.

I’m the same as you Moriel. I got my gifts from the chest no problems. I’ve just logged in to find another set of gifts in an e-mail.
Perhaps an admin could comment on this to let us know what happens now?

I believe people who did not get the items from the chest have enough cogs for a third minipet. I only got 200 cogs from the chest, which, I think, was to compensate for a bug. That isn’t enough for another minipet. I did, however, get 250 cogs from the gift received in the mail, which I think everyone got.

Some people who had diminishing returns did not get 200 cogs from a chest, thus they are still unable to create a third mini pet. It probably isn’t a large amount compared to those who can but it is still a possibility that exists.

I hope you guys aren’t complaining for getting more stuff. lol.

Not complaining. Just wanting to know if it was a mistake or not.

Honestly, if these things were not account bound I’d sell a lot of them or give them to my guildmates. I’ve not gotten a weapon skin for anything I really use, and tonics are kind of boring to me.

The storage and clothing items, though, make me squeak with joy, just like a Plush Griffon ripping out the clockwork heart of a Toy Princess!

Yeah my girlfriend has two 15 slot boxes and I only have one. Was trying to figure out what she did to get the second box. Wish we could get a box for each character!
