Confusion most likely.

Yes, could see them being an amazing threat for melee based professions.
The confusion stacks by ridiculous amounts.

Try shortbow + quickness

Heh, pet takes confusion i didn’t have any problems with that and especially with a healing spring up. =) rangers all the way.

I found the first couple I fought difficult, but they were piece of cake once I realised their scream stacks confusion. Just switch to a ranged weapon and stay out of range of their scream, simples. If you get hit by it, it doesn’t last long so just back off and stop attacking for a couple of seconds.

I actually found the ranged soldiers tougher than the dolls, due to their unrelenting rapid fire. Though Dagger Storm sorts them out nicely.

See confusion on yourself don’t attack them or use skills but yeah this stacks so much it’s an easy " kill yourself " if you’re not watching for it.

It is not just the confusion although that can be a big part of it. In addition to confusion they also apply weakness which means you it will prolong the fight for you. The weakness also serves as a cover for the confusion, unless you use a skill that removes multiple conditions it won’t go away.

On top of the conditions they apply to you they also buff themselves quite a bit. The protection buff they apply to themselves last at least 2 minutes. They also have Fury for +20% crit and Might to make both their direct damage and the confusion do even more damage.
