Anet should seriously put those princess dolls in the halloween doors instead, as soon as you open a present they hit you with a confusion that tics 1000! in queensdale, and I am a lvl 62 with appropriate armor and still died in 1 hit. Also, that screech ~….. Just way too creepy for christmas. Hope it IS working as intended.

While I was finishing Been There. Done That. a couple of days ago, I was in a lowish level zone (either Lornar’s or Timberline – or maybe both) and watch these things destroy a couple of little outposts.

Not really worth fighting at all, IMO.

Are they killable? Yes.

Are they killable in any sort of timeframe that makes killing them worth it? No.

Grab present and run – they’ll despawn in a couple of minutes (after wiping out any NPCs in their vicinity that will attack them).

Just make use of them.

Find nearby event, champs included > lure dolls to event > watch as they complete it
Seriously, not even the champs in this game can stand up to those dolls. Go try it.

If the Deluxe version includes summoning Princess Dolls as Elite Skill, I will totally go for the upgrade in a heartbeat.

They’re surpassed themselves, there’s something even worse than these ridiculous dolls out there now. Toy golems. They stun you with every hit. So it’s stun, get hit till dead if you’re squishy, escape then stun again till dead if you’re not.

They are ridiculously overpowered for level 7 zones. Whoever decided this sort of thing was a good idea should be slapped with a wet kipper.

I’m to the point where I’m tempted to log out until after the new year. What fresh bag of hell will they throw at us next?

Managed to kill a box of these killer robots with the help of three wild moas, unfortunately they died to my AOE’s with the toy golems. Now I just avoid to open any gifts in general, unless someone opens them first, then I’ll go in, snatch the present, and run away as fast as I can.

Confusion only ticks 1000 if you swing your sword, or use a spell.

You do realise how confusion works right?

well i’m glad to know that i didn’t die by princess doll because i’m a crappy player, those dolls rules!

Definitely the dolls in Barbarella, lol. As hard as they are to defeat I find them very creatively done and fun to watch especially if you can lure in any of the surrounding wildlife or are near a camp. I love the death dealing shriek they make too. They would make awesome sidekicks for rangers….. Now if we could figure out how to charm them…. Overall great job on the killer toys – creativity is over the top for sure.

Yep. And my level 2 or 3 characters in Queensdale or Metrica Province or wherever don’t have the luxury of condition removal skills. So they get to stand around and get pummeled by the dolls while they can do nothing. Even the dolls’ basic attack hits pretty hard. I’ve had many many deaths from these evil dolls, and helplessly looked at my skills knowing there’s nothing I can do.

Yay fun?

Feedback, arcane thievery, even the heal that reflects projectiles, null field… mesmers can do rather well against them.
