Just look at the picture below: Sea of Sorrows is green, Stormbluff Isle is red, and Jade Quarry is blue…

And yet, we were still able to make a comeback and win the match. So it’s not because the entire SoS and JQ communities devised a plan together to beat Blackgate. It’s because that’s how things go here. Maybe next week SoS and BG will 2v1 JQ, or BG and JQ will 2v1 SoS who knows. But there’s no conspiracy here bro.

My guild had a ton of fun today in BG BL, thx for the fights. We had 8 thieves at one point with a couple “civilians.” Any BG know who the warrior/guardian squad was that kept chasing us away from longview?

Later we were trying to foster the BG/JQ alliance by trebbing down Gari and 2v1 SoS, but BG wouldn’t let us play in the reindeer games and took Cliff eventually. I know we aj’d each other a couple times at garri, but cmon! What’s a little aj between allies?!

Oh, and a big shout out to my JQ puggers who helped us hold down BG BL tonight, you guys are rock stars!

Nope. BG need to stop attacking JQ and focus on bringing the points leader back into the pack to make it a three horse race instead of a two horse race.

A two horse race will merely make JQ focus on the BG to ensure we get second place.

When it becomes a two horse race – JQ will focus on taking BG assets because it offers a better point differential compared to JQ taking SoS assets. e.g., -5 BG +5 JQ = +10 points for JQvBG. -5 SoS +5 JQ = +5 points for JQvBG.

BG and JQ need to gang up on SoS and once we are all even again – then we can go back to everyone fighting each other. This is the best chance that BG will have to take a win also.

BG teaming with SoS may help BG early in the week but once SoS gets out to a big lead they put their feet up and coast to the line. That will leave BG all alone, facing a JQ server that is not being distracted by the SoS super zerg on their borderland / EB. Keeping the match close will help keep SoS engaged all week and help keep BG’s ranking high.

To me, the two weaker teams ganging up on the strongest team makes more sense.

The 2 posts you highlighted made no “claims of 2v1”. It was a suggestion to 2v1.

Suggestions are addressed in my last paragraph. If you can get it to work, good job!

I am aware of this. I pointed them out because it appears they are both made by SoS/JQ players. I’m showing what a constructive counter-post looks like.

Have to say cheers to SOS. NOC has come out the last couple of nights, completely outnumbered against SOS and had a blast.

We held hills last night in SOS BL and held onto Cliffside in BG BL tonight, would have attacked garrison but we didn’t get enough support.

Definitely enjoyed the fights against MERC and DIE and had some amusing moments focusing the two ex NOC now DIE thieves.

Being back in Tier 1 is refreshing, as its been a while since the days of ET and the 2 or 3 weeks we had with BG.

Its not an alliance but we do seem to be staying away from JQ a bit too much imo. We seem to stop them if they move out too much and are happy to try and keep them contained.

I wasn’t aware of this, but JQ people, I don’t have the time for regular WvW currently and I have quite a few siege blueprints taking up space in my bank. I was unaware you could drop it and let someone else have it.

I can meet someone somewhere, preferably a commander, to offload it to you all. Maybe JQ BL Citadel?

Not having enough numbers is no excuse. This is top tier after all.

But the fights I have seen have been great. How ever. The fight BG has put up compared to SBI is disappointing to say the least.
