The situation has recently changed, AR has taken the lead… But the situation is quite still close to my previous words, AR and BP doesn’t seems to be attacking each other as much as they are attacking NSP…

It wasn’t 40 man groups. We split up into 3 small groups and moved around as needed.
first wave was 7 golems each, bay, hills, garri. all failed.
second wave was 5 golems bay, hills, garri, 2 succeded.
I get on here and complain because NONE of the 40 people in the zerg are willing to test their skill, or their guilds skill against us. So they LAZILY run with the other 39 people from 15 different guilds, and roam the BL. That takes no skill, no coordination, and isn’t challenging. As for the 4 v 5, I couldn’t tell you man. I also havent heard about it in vent but like Osif said, we lose fights too, just not too often. Cheers.

Go play structured or stop kittening.
You don’t get 5v5s in sPvP. Dumb PUG teams might do that, but they lose in a minute. tPvP teams will never ever do that. Besides, sPvP capture point is super boring and it’s all the same. I’m sure they’ll be fixing that soon.

Fairness in combat is a romantic concept and one that I fully support. There’s nothing more exciting than a close fight- even when you lose.
I remember poking around in the enemy’s BL once when I was ambushed by a lone Engineer with the flamethrower kit. I managed to put up a good fight with my shield spec, but he was relentless. Eventually I succumbed to the flames, but I had no regrets about our five minute duel.
This will always be more fun to me than large group combat (not to say that can’t be fun too).

If I’m in the mood for even terms, I play League of Legends.
If I’m in the mood for big group combat, I play EvE Online.
If I’m in the mood to spend several hours stalking people, hiding from large patroling groups; hunting. I play WvW.
If I’m in the mood to slit my own wrists I play spvp or tpvp.

Heres the thing, for WvW zergs are needed, but that does not mean its the only way to play. Small mans can also be important to slow the enemy zerg down, cut supplies, and create distractions.
All play styles are viable, even that solo guy killing yaks helps. How ppl enjoy their game time is up to them and all styles help, so don’t kitten about what others enjoy, its no less important then what you enjoy.
Personally, as far as 1v1 and 5v5 goes, I’ve never been interested. But I did watch one of our guilds go from mediocre to excellent, practicing and perfecting 5-man squads and was impressed from where I sat. Then, when they really got to be pretty good, they blew us off and jumped servers because Borlis was too lame for their uber leet skillz. So, my already iffy opinion of “Fight Club” and that whole thing went in the toilet. Organized 1v1 and 5v5 fights do nothing for the server as a whole. The point of WvW is to fight against an entire server, not stroll off and politely beat on a few at a time because you’re bored and want to show off how ‘great’ you are with the FotM build you saw on YouTube.
TCMM just xfered….we slaughtered them the past month. Not excited to have sub par players joining us.
Might be able to show PAXA how not to run away from even odds tho. Or god forbid show PAXA how to do something other than set 10 man traps to gank lone stragglers.

Ya great job that was a EPIC fight very fun even though we didnt get your lord , we held that tower for 3hrs against every attack you guys could have thought to thrown at us over at Bluebriar. You get to keep bay tonight , but my 8 man team got your Garrison last night =) one blue dot in the middle of the map hahahaha you have no idea the hell we went through to swim them golems there on a completely green map.
Yeah, hats off to you guys for putting up such a resilient defense. I sat in our spawn camp for about 30 minutes staring at my computer screen after it had all cooled down, trying to motivate myself to do something else, but couldn’t. Great stuff BP.

THUG is a new pve guild that started about 1-2 months ago, they just recently getting into WvW.
crying on the forums that you’re being focused, kinda makes me wanna focus you. Also some comment about AR only hitting 1 server at a time? i don’t know what kinda numbers you think this sPvP based server can pull in wvw but you need to calm down with those ambitions. Its like you guys WANT me to WANT to dislike you more than BP.
And BP how i’ve missed your badges. 11k-12k wvw kills this week, and i have mostly you to thank despite what some nsp may think.

lol rob, that was nothing to do with more night crew, that was us staying up all night with a coordinated attack, sorry to pull ahead and make it 3.5k behind AR at this current time, we did everything in AR and NSP with a total of 50 ppl between the 2 maps, then when it was all green it was about 8-10 per map. so please, stop making excuses about new transfers every time BP does a push.
