lol rob, that was nothing to do with more night crew, that was us staying up all night with a coordinated attack, sorry to pull ahead and make it 3.5k behind AR at this current time, we did everything in AR and NSP with a total of 50 ppl between the 2 maps, then when it was all green it was about 8-10 per map. so please, stop making excuses about new transfers every time BP does a push.

Also, NSP simply does not have enough people during the week to actually “Attack” anyone.

It’s a big numbers game for us since AR has more WvW participation in general.

It’s much easier to defend with the 20 people we have than attack with the 20 people we have, therefore, we defend.

They spent 2 hours the other night camping my friends corps (he was afk) while I ran in circles around them. They have dedication, I’ll give them that. It was really fun though, they almost got me a few times.

At least the bags we get are all heavy bags and we get quite a few, so it makes up for the upgrade costs two fold.

I made over 4 gold in 3 hours last night. The night before was even better. then again, I am an Aoe class, so that might have something to do with it.

They have an ego, which is good at times and annoying at others, they have been known to break up fight clubs, or try, which is also annoying, they are very loud, also annoying.

Personally, I have no issue with any of this. I could care less, they flip camps nicely so it’s fine. I am just pointing out the reasons why others would possibly hate PAXA.

Many people get fed up when a group of people have “Come at me bro” tattooed on their chest and keep yelling at at people all day.

My only interaction with PAXA was them running face first into fight club, which had tons of people in it and being the only NSP representative there, being called a care bear while communicating that this was a fight club and the Kaening players and anvil players there would kill on sight them because they are being disruptive to the group fighting.

I do not see this as the best first impression, myself, considering I am a WvW officer for Os guild and help field our people every night and kill many in WvW trying to make our server a better place and keep our objectives. Care Bear is far from what other servers players call me given my combat history.

They could use a little better public relations, but over all, they aren’t someone to “Hate” per say.

NSP is still adjusting to the lack of numbers between Midnight server and when the Morning (Night) crew arrives. Logged off at about 2am server – Held everything red and blue in EB except the blue keep plus SM & WC. BPs 50 zerg was off PvDing the BLs because we didn’t have the numbers. Night before, we defended the BL. Can’t be everywhere at once and definitely can’t conjure up a 50 zerg. Did note BP didn’t actually bother to attack anywhere there was actual resistance – you stayed where people wern’t until NSP logged for the night.

Nah, I appreciate all of the guilds representing in WvW. Our guild is pretty heavy into PvE stuff right now but slowly we are getting a few more wanting to get into the WvW. I appreciate Os for sticking around! Also special shout out to Noroz and Moon for commanding in EB when we where severely outnumbered and keeping what we had while we got our BL back. Appreciate the TFG and other guilds who are sticking with us.

Na man didnt play AION im an original GW1 player from Zealots of shiverpeak guild when it was first started and then become full of fan boys lol but my current guild now i joined in GW1 also so the guild has been together for 8+ years and still going strong =D

Let’s just be clear on a few things… BP hasn’t had any last-minute-scramble transfers yet. I promise, we will tell you if we do. [BURN] Seraphim Martyrs has been here forever, and if I was them, I’d be a little insulted that you only noticed them now. They are one of our biggest guilds, if not the biggest and incredibly dedicated to teh server. [Thug] Corporate Thugs aren’t new either. They have had a small handful of players (maybe 5) in here for ages, but they are mostly seen in PvE. If they are raising their WvW profile and recruiting, awesomesauce.

Our night crew is made up of a handful of Aussies and some narcoleptic EU and NA players. The folks you fight at night are the folks you fight during NA prime-time, sans sleep. This was something we started doing for survival against Dragonbrand. We couldn’t sustain it, and if you go back and look at the scores during that match up, you will see the exact moment when all the coffee, tea, and Red Bull wore off and we collectively passed out. We woke up that Tuesday to find ourselves in a hole we couldn’t climb out of and we basically rolled over and went back to sleep. Our biggest guild at the time, [KREW], left the next day for Dragonbrand, our first defection. That was an emotional blow we are only now recovering from.

We have not been playing to our full strength in the last 2-3 weeks. We queued EB and BP BL at reset, but that was the last queue we’ve seen since. There have been many times when we were trying to defend BP BL with only 10 people on the entire map, which in reality equates to about five players scrambling to try and see everything at once, three navel-gazing in the citadel, one guy screaming at us because we suck and never learn, and one asking for a mesmer to come to the jumping puzzle because he keeps falling.

Borlis lost around 400 players to other servers while in T5, but it seems we lost almost that much again do to burnout (see above lack of sleep) and frustration. People got tired of the constant pounding by T4 servers and others saw the drop to T6 as failure, and not the intentional withdrawal from T5 that it was. Still others decided that the only reason we were losing to Maguuma, et al, was because the PuGs couldn’t be trained and we were a waste of their time. These people assumed that if they stopped playing, we would be smashed and learn our place. We’ll this isn’t the thrashing they expected, and it seems our place is right where we are.

If you see our population suddenly swell, it is because those folks that threw their hands up and went to grind ascended rings might have heard that WvW is fun again.
The fact that WvW is fun again is a direct result of this match up. If you get frustrated that our numbers seem to confuse you, flipping erratically from minimal to whoa, you only have yourselves to blame. Stop being awesome, and they will probably go away again.

Losing guilds creates chaos, frustration, and despair, but from where I stand, it can also mean a fresh start. None of the teams in this tier are going to start spiraling down to T8. Not gonna happen. We’re probably not going to explode up the tiers anytime soon, either. I think we’re all pretty stable. We’re not good enough to draw bandwagoners, and not bad enough to draw mercenaries.

That means BP/AR/NSP are going to be eyeball-to-eyeball for a while, so let’s just have fun.

I’d be up for some 1v1s with you guys. For the most part from what I’ve sen I think BL are pretty skilled. I’ll do either my Mesmer or Warrior… be warned though, 1v1s with my warrior usually last an hour (stupid hammer!) but I’d like to get some more fights in with him since I’m kinda new to warriors.

I can tell most of us are only forum warriors on school/work breaks Lulz.

We made some friends with Twin and camped VS dead bodies because they were killing the low levels that were doing the JP earlier last week.

first we had 20-30 in ur BL with 6 golems, we vs’d 4 defenders and no one came for a few hours after we capped.
second, i believe us not bringing everyone to EB is called the tactic of 3 wp’s in AR/NSP map > better then finishing off EB then losing it all. This attack was effective and not because of the numbers, there was only 10-15 ppl that stayed up all night, the rest were the usual night crew thats always in the field. around 2 hours after it was all green we had 15 ppl in NSP max. You cannot deny that, if you do, get your eyes checked.

As for golems, it seems as if AR has an endless supply.

We are lucky if we can grub 10 or so together because many pugs feel the need to NOT throw down siege ever.

It’s always the same people throwing it down and we are all broke by now.

The bad thing tho, is that I’m really bad geared for WvW. My necro is exo/ascended geared, but I don’t use it anymore.

I will have to gear up my engineer before accepting any duel! My build seems to be a lot less effective in WvW then sPvP. I think stats are way higher in WvW, making my burst a lot lower.

And Osif, I will make sure to find you guys again to have some group fight!
