I think there is an open item on the SF to do list.

None of my guild members post on these forums besides me, and when I post I am always positive, I however cannot speak for everyone and I think there should be none of this trolling but I cannot do anything about. And some of the things you guys are saying, you are saying to the whole server which is not like that (well at least most of them). You have to know that a select few maybe in the 50s even do not represent a server as a whole. So when you dismiss a server as a whole its really not nice, because there are many people that get thrown under that title.

Sorry i had to kind of say that since there was just finger pointing going on. However I enjoy every fight with ET and FC win or loose its always a pleasure and I hope that we can continue to work towards having better battles on the field rather than forums.

What the … mate. I saw the scores this morning and it was like SF 27 ET 12 FC 10, and SF was looking to gain like 20 points. I look at it now, with SF 38, ET 19, FC 18, and SF is looking to lose 10 points.

Usually for thieves and fall victims.

Had fun portaling 10 people into SM inner after ET held it for an hour. FC made the breach for us though. Total of 11 ETs of various tags walked right by me while sweeping.

Also nice try on portaling 2 badly hurt omega golems and 2 people in. Omegas are horrendous at killing castle lords though. (Not that you guys even reached there).

Wish I had screenshots or video, but the adrenaline was pumping too hard from practically stealing SM. By the way, thanks a ton for giving me the opportunity to sneak in, Fergs.

Good fighting the last few days, I have quite enjoyed it! Had me running all over EB last night. I much prefer that than spending my time keeping upgrades going and building siege on an empty map.

Keep it up, to all sides. We only make each other better, the better we play! I know that some might think I am a troll, but I only troll the other trolls. Much respect to the real warriors on the field of battle, you guys keep me poor in the game!

During the frantic hectic crush of bodies of a garrison under siege, a brief flash of blue and the tag [ND] caught the corner of my eye. pounce! slash! in the midst of the mob, the scrap of blue went down. i look at my feet, surrounded by friend and foe... both alive and dead... and see that it was a male Sylvari, garbed and coifed in blue. i got the briefest of glances before he retreated to the safety of a waypoint, and my attention was dragged back to the siege at hand... but for a moment, i wondered. i have but a single image to compare to, so i have no way to know for sure, but could i?

Do not worry, remember with 5 or 6 players ET and FC can face down any number of SF players. It apparently happens all the time. Still trying to be on one of these SF zergs that gets faced down by 10% of their numbers. Maybe I am just so good that all the zergs I happen to run with never lose an outmanned fight?

It was actually a SF guy who said this in another thread, not sure how it became ET now so -1 for idiot trolling. The dude on your server was saying how he and just 4 others ran over 30 ET and does it all the time.

Anyway, real leaders and people are out on the battlefield doing it through actions proving it day in and day out, we don’t have time to fake brag or troll on forums.

I’ve fought IoJ back in T2, and they really weren’t a all-that-great server (except for their Aussies which xfered to Isle of Fort Kickaspenwood Janthir, oh those guys used to keep IoJ alive). However T6 is aparently prety solid to send someone up (and IoJ down), so i wouldn’t bet on they…

Hello everyone!! [TFoR] want to thank SFs and FCc for the great fights.

About some people saying that ET players hide till SFs are sleeping I would like to remind you all of " Time zones " I play usually around the morning / afternoon in my country and people call me a " night shift commander ’ while its not really night for me. xD Whatever I think SFs give us enough challenging fights even at those " nights "

To make sure its clear, we didn’t port those golems in. The thing is that they were there before we wiped but no one noticed

Lol…Wow 95% of the time it says you are enjoying the comforts and safety of PvE areas. But since it was prime time for the server I guess you found safety in numbers.

and to be fair… i’ve been powerleveling an alt via crafting lately… hence alot of time spent in LA. lately… but that time is hardly “95% of my playtime”

Tactical Terror was having some fun in WvW today. I think we provided a much needed morale boost for our members and players alike.

SF try to take ascension bay twice with 2 golem and 7 players 13 hrs ago in ET BL . We held it with 3 ppl. Me( ranger)burntbottom(elementist)and crager(engineer). They broke in to lords room and got wiped by The Lord .

In their second try I sneak to the south outer gate and repair it killing a ranger and a necro in the process.while 3 SF was busy attacking the inner gate we eventually trap them inside ascension bay and wiping them second time.
That was not a major battle but it was kitten fun .

Been a lil bit since I made a post in this section but I’ve made my way to WvW more recently and 1 thing I must say is…

Props to all servers Had tons more fun in WvW in the past 1-2 weeks than I have in the last month or w/e. Some great fights all around.

Sadly though that’s a double edged sword, while I have had more fun in WvW and there’s almost always a good fight to be found with how the points have been going and stuff seems like us (SF) will be locked here for a while more. As much as I do enjoy these recent nights I still feel we’d be better suited in T7 and I think whoever drops to T8 will be a much better match for you guys.

ET seems to have caught a second wind since becoming second. Your night-early morning (particularly that 12-6AM server time) presence is much harder felt now. I had some sparse words with a TFoR member about it I believe. I’m happy to hear the night coordination is improving that rapidly for you, the next opponent will not have an easy time keeping points ticking.

That mentioned, TFoR I’ve been seeing a lot more of you guys around and enjoy your presence. You put up some great fights. Props of course too to the usuals, WZ, KWBH, YARR, Mend, TAC, PZ, PK. Always look forward to seeing your tags. TAC, pretty sure ran into your little guild group a couple times today. Very nice, carried a lot of momentum. No easy task to shut down. YARR, seems I’m always running into small groups of you around the southern supply camp. That area’s like your stomping grounds regardless of BL. Sick small group tactics. Vicious lockdowns.

I think we can all agree that this last 1-2 weeks has been a sort of breath of fresh air in some respects for WvW. At the same time I almost want to tell you all to run guild missions, FOTM, dungeons, etc, and grind for that pink gear for about 2 weeks. Just give us WvW haha. This ratings toilet of T8 is a joke and with no word from Anet on it (that I know of) seems we’re either BFFs (for at least a month) or you bend over and we launch our rocket out of here.

Now if I could only get my work to allow me to play at work. I have GW2 installed on my work laptop (nice Sony Viao, actually plays GW2 better than my home machine but my boss and others actually frown on me playing it at work. The nerve! :P

Thanks. It is hard trying to figure out our population patterns. I know that we must have a large West Coast population (like me, I live in Arizona) because it seems that when I get home and log on we own less of the maps than we do an hour or so later.

Actually, you can put “(insert item here) with grace” on the checklist for all the T8 servers. Funny how you think it is only SF. Each server has their honorable players and each has their immature players.

I, at least, try to see it from all sides. I know it has to be extremely frustrating to be stuck in these endless matches with us. I completely get it. When I first started WvW about a month after the game released SF was very inconsistent. We would lose horribly one match and then smack the hell out of the next one, then lose horribly two or three matches. And it seemed every time I ran with a zerg we would be decimated even by smaller numbers. I know this is a bad comparison to how outnumbered you guys usually are every day, every week, going on months now.

I never just state generalizations about the other servers (unless I am responding to some kitten comment or whining comment, then the sarcasm is in full force). What it comes down to is your guys want to win and so do we. At the end of the day that is all it is. We are all just normal (well, most of us) humans sitting in front a monitor and keyboard mashing away at buttons in order to kill or capture a virtual representation on the screen.

And, FC is on a tear. They have SM and almost as much pie as SF.

So I’m on EST and I desparately need to finish my map completion. I’ve got a few things left in EB and a few in SF’s BL. Is there a time of the day (or night) when I’d have better luck getting the last few things I need?

the screenshot showing +425 was taken at around 7:30-7:45 am when i first woke up. the rest were scattered thru the morning. when i logged off at around 11:30am-12noon we had less (somewhere between 200-300, i didn’t catch an exact number) but were still fighting… hopping map to map (all times in EST)

if you need to get EB done, and you’re ET, try to get in between around 7 – 11am EST (3 – 7am server time, 12noon – 4pm GMT)

if you’re Ferg… ermmm. avoid the EB at those times if all you’re looking for is map completion. srsly. no offense intended. way too busy out there at that time… a solo flyer would get rolled and that ain’t no fun
