Not that it’s a bad thing. The gap between 1st and 3rd was about 36k, which is the smallest in the NA ladder. The second smallest gap in NA was 60k in T4.
The worst part of WvWvW is the fact that entire zerg’s don’t load till it’s too late. I should’ve had FRAPS on tonight, an entire group literally appeared after 20 FA’ers were downed. High Pop will just become more zerg, and every other server either gains or just gives up. TC was bad. CD and IoJ aren’t nearly as zergy as that f* server.
Good luck ULTD. I noticed you guys were absent of late, which may account for our recent drop of progress.
Meanwhile the opening salvo has been fired and it looks like CD takes the lead. But not by much. This week will be interesting now that FA and IoJ know right away who the main contender will be!

Well it appears the Zerg rush transferred out of IOJ and to CD. Haven’t seen much of IOJ but I can’t throw a rock without hitting a CD member.

IoJ has never had a large WvW community. It just has very committed players that work very hard. The reason you’re seeing less players now, is the excitement of being in a new tier has worn off and people aren’t putting in extra hours anymore.
CD has had a surge in players, but I only know of one new guild that transferred, and they’re only around 50 members. I think it’s all the holiday returnees coming back in to the battlegrounds.
SoH was holding the SE quadrant in FA BL for reset night, had some good fights with GODS and PTX and many other guilds. IoJ didn’t show up on the FA BL for the first few hours so we were fighting FA from 3 sides.

So tonight I had a weird conversation with someone accusing me of hacking, but would not tell me how or what they were talking about. Further they tell me they are recording me, but if you look at the dot on the map of the attached picture, we are not even close to each other, so I have no idea who exactly they are recording at that time?
I ‘think’ it is someone from the IoJ guild HARD, a mesmer. The guild has a lot of legendaries, guessing maybe a PvE guild without a lot of experience and thus quick to jump to the hacking accusations? Sorry in advance if it was not HARD.
At any rate I do not hack or exploit, so report me all you like, but I am curious as to what exactly I removed, so if anyone knows please share the info I may even be able to answer the question :P

I wasn’t referring to GoF, they’ve been around for three weeks already. So the surge this week can’t be attributed to GoF. The guild I mentioned was WOLF.
Aww, FA took back their BL? I thought our Bluelake tower would stand for eternity! Well time to go take some stuff back… SoH does a ‘Smash ’n Grab’ event on Saturday mornings, for a break from the heavy trench warfare.

Great fights today in FABL CD. You guys were very pretty persistent and really wanted to take our Hills. I admire you spirit. Looking forward to more great fights as week continues. You guys seem to grow in numbers each day though. I think CD have more WvW population than FA and IoJ combined at least at times I am on. But we do like to be underdogs. I personally would rather beat 10 players with 5 than vise versa. We may loose week after week but we will surely put up a good fight. That all that matter to me. GL and see you guys on Battlefield.

Tonight I saw two CD guilds that I didn’t t recognise from our previous two match ups. One was EA (Electronic Arts). The other one I can’t remember exactly but it was something like OBL.

great fight last night. I am from CD in the GOF guild and I must say GODS is a very formidable opponent. Their borderlands were completely getting blindsided on both sides of the map and they stayed and fought to the death. I can appreciate a strong guild like that. Great effort last night on your borderlands.

Which BL were you in. IF it was IOJ, [HEL] was using a new tactic, also involving mesmers, but no portals^_^. And we were wiping both FA and CD hard from Hills, and garrison with the help of drgn and a few others. I wouldn’t exactly call 20 people a zerg when you guys were fielding similar or more numbers.

CD definitely had a zerg. One of our members said she had to wait 40seconds for your whole train to pass by Cragtop to Garrison when you got the wall down. Was fun Backdooring you guys.

They had 15+ players that didn’t cap or own a single thing on the map, and just zerged to anything with swords. In effect they did nothing but defend CD’s towers and keeps for hours on end.

It wasn’t 15+, it was 7. They didn’t just zerg to everything with swords, they went to where they thought enemy zergs would be. And it wasn’t for hours, there was no more than 45mins spent on SE tower on CD BL. Eventually, the tower was taken (for FA) along with flipping the supply camp. Jeez, talk about exaggeration. And there was a reason behind everything they did. Just because you don’t know what it was, it’s understandable to draw your own conclusion. But don’t assume you’re correct or what others are doing is stupid.

We enjoy making people grief, but please do have your facts straight.. there was 7 of us repeatedly wiping 25+ of you. We don’t care about CD, nor do we care about FA, nor do we care about IoJ. We just kill stuff.
OMG i love this match up. in the night before the last reset, everyone was having a laugh, you could almost see frequent 3-way fight….. my most LOL moment was when IoJ was attacking us CD at Greenbriar i think, when suddenly a group of FA flanking them from the side…… me and my guildmates couldn’t stop laughing on our RaidCall channel….

Personally I feel bad for the hard working FA WvW community.
Some people don’t like to just attack keeps all day. If you see a small group going around doing nothing but attacking people at crossed swords, then obviously their idea of fun in WvW that day is to just go around and zerg stomp. We get sick of attacking keeps sometimes as well and do nothing but zerg stomp.
AoN is organized and has good communication. If they want to go out and stomp some pubs then that is their own decision. Deal with it. If a group of 7 means the difference between your server winning and losing, then it sounds like you are depending on that 7 far too much.

I saw somebody from FA doing the JP in our borderlands last night, and they were rather close to me. I just ignored them and did the JP. Had they attacked me though…fair game. Same thing with IoJ. As long as you don’t attack me in our borderlands, I won’t attack you. If I’m doing a JP in your borderlands though, and you see me running or bow towards you, know it means I’m not going to attack you. I think at this point bowing is the universal command to let the other server players know you come in peace.

Actually Bowing can also mean “duel?” so that might get tricky, if you bow and one of you is thinking I come in peace and one is thinking I’m about to put you in more than one piece.

Nothing, apparently. Because you apparently still can’t see anything past what you think it is. So continue to believe it’s trolling. I will continue to correct anything people say, but you’re free to piece the puzzle together.
Anyway, it’s just funny how someone counts 7 people as 15+, 45mins as hours, and not capping anything when a tower and supply camps were taken. It really speaks for the kind of mentality the person has. Hope that’s not a widespread thing.
