Well guys theres one week for the new update/wvw expansion to happen and we have yet to seen clear infos on the blog or any other detailed info.

Is someone late or this is pure strategic-marketing purposes?

Well, they already did the blog on culling removal. I’d imagine they’re finishing up the blog on the rest of the changes, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see it in the next couple of days.

They are currently trying to find the best way to let the community know that the update has been pushed to next March due to PvE being in dier need of their immediate attention.

What does it matter? You won’t be playing it until the patch goes live anyway, and it’s not like Anet ever acts on feedback.

Im interested to see what kind of system they recommend to play WvW battles with the new settings seto to max. I.e no culling ..full details.

I highly suspect they wont release said requirments or comment on how bad the performance will be.

Unless some MAJOR backend performance enhancments are also present, all this removal of culling will do is increase the load on CPU’s which are already bottlenecking even with Culling happening on screen. thus forcing every1 to manualy turn culing back on. Anet keeps their kitten covered by being able to advertise 0 culling, whilst in reality u cant actually play with 0 culling becouse no current CPU can handle the horrid thread allocation that GW2 has.

That said ..i really really hope im wrong.

They’re now realizing that the culling fix will make everyone notice the skill lag problem and are busy writing a response for March 27th when folks start to ragequit.

Why I have to leave the official guildwars site for official guildwars news is beyond me. I’m glad somebody always posts a link here though, as I don’t have time to shuffle through all the GW2 sites out there to try and find a video or interview with new information in it, and then sort out whether I think it’s legit or not.
