Or something around that. Been an awesome fight so far, Hard fighting all round.

A very good and intense battle at the CD garrison/Cragtop tower. Especially a special note towards TacSym guild from SoS and EPIC from SoR.

You both really got my head busy thinking of a counter-strategy. Good game to whoever that was presence.

Aside from the awful queues it’s been a lot of fun, hopefully it keeps up

Man, the fight for SMC about 2-3 hours ago was epic. The fight between all 4 servers was awesome. Lag officially has it’s own realm after that fight. We (CD) would come in, then SOR, then SOS would clear us all out again, after the other two went at it. We pushed at least 5-6 times, so did SOR. If SOS held out (I got lag DC’d in lord room), then major qudos to them. Even with the lag, it was a blast just trying to stay alive.

Someone mentioned “dream match-up” and I’d have to agree. All 3 servers have proven they can hold their own (at least in EB where i spent a good 3-4 hours), to almost a dead stalemate.

IIRC, SoS rolled us once before, and I learned a lot from that match-up. They have such great coordination, that a few communication errors, will send you packing.

The few SoR i ran into were relentless too. I was in a group of about 10 taking the northern EB supply camps, and a smaller group of SoR ambushed us from some cliffs, then bull rushed most of us dead.

So, looking forward to the rest of this match up, and here’s to hoping it stays close and violent! I’m probably gonna have to start using my 80 a lot more in this one, rather than my lowbies

I guess everyone agreed this is the best matchup experience at the moment, since it just started few hours ago, so anything can happen later on

SoR is doing better now that the queues are down and we can get our organized night folks in. We’ll see how things go the rest of the week, I think(and hope)this one’s going to be intense.

Daish checked out 2 Boarderland maps today and the players and Commanders had no idea what they were doing

it was very sad

players on SOS do not seem to understand that restart is on Sat for Oceanic players and Friday for US players thats the only reason for our higher score at the moment

the best way for golems to be used is trying to hide their approach and less then 5 people go with the golems and go for the back door something that’s not checked on much

if there are 5 or less players in combat you wont show up as a big battle icon saying HEY COME OVER HERE CHECK THIS SPOT SOMETHING IS GOING ON HEY

so you could take 2-3 golems with 2-3 players and attack a back gate and break in before the other team even knows what’s happening

then its just a matter of who can fall back faster 1 team to defend the keep or 1 team to get inside the inner walls and stop the other manning the siege defence’s

whoever used 14 golems on a main attack has no idea what hes doing

Ya I was there for that failed Golem rush on our orb at bay, was pretty funny I could see them hanging back and had a pretty good idea they would try to portal them over to NW gate and sure enough did called it out right away and we were on the gate.

Of course it really helped they didnt clear the oil they were hoping to tear the gate down quick enough I guess but they didnt get the gate down to less then 40%.

On another note on SoR borderlands at our citadel there are 20 people botting at our waypoint clogging up space and creating a long que while SoS has orb there and taking our Garrison ( hmmm ) cause we are outnumbered because of that.

If thats how WvW is gonna be now then this game will die quickly.

Applied Tactics [ATaC] was all over the side of the map my guild was on last night, I enjoyed watching them as they changed strategy attacking cliffside tower. Hoping to see more interesting stuff that DOES NOT happen in the lower matchups. Can’t wait till I can play a bit more today!

I am looking forward to more of a challenge this week! Our last match seemed to be over very quickly, and our hardcore WvW players were getting bored. (The other servers seemed to just stop entering WvW at all.) We may end up being the squished ones this time, but I prefer fighting outnumbered. And I will keep fighting even if we get pushed to spawn! >:D

It is weird being red after rolling blue team so many times. Once we figure out the good trebbing spots, look out SoS and CD!

Let’s keep this fight clean and intense, shall we? Happy fragging to all teams.

Lol I guess I take full responsibility for the failed golem attack on SoS BL

It was 29 alpha golems and 1 omega golem

We wiped because because I was told the cannon and oil was down and a portal was up so we took it.

Was fun, too bad I only had 2 hours to play. 50 golems tomorrow, promise you guys tomorrow!

Eh can’t hurt to ask for updates on here though. Sometimes that site goes up to like 5-6 hours without being updated.

SoR have all the orbs, due to a CD guy flying in and resetting them.

Played for 5 minutes… And I was astounded. SoS and CD put up one hell of a fight! And it is FUN! Holy mother of god I haven’t had this much fun in a PvP game in ages. Saddest part is my Greatsword is only level 45 and I need my level 60 one to do anything… So I’ll be back in PvP in about 10 minutes :P.

ouch :X way i figured this match would go is

SoS would win it all eventually due to their Oceanics and PRX spearheading their NA hours

CD would make it respectable controlling the maps at NA primetime

SoR would make it interesting but come in 3rd in a close match

but the way it’s going now with 3 orbs, SoR is poised to maybe take this whole thing!

still a good match though, just hope CD can pick it back up otherwise ..

All this talk about queue times, as someone on Crystal Desert I been able to get in instantly since reset on all 4 maps. We just don’t have the players these days :/

For one of the orbs that got stolen, it was actually a CD guy who magically flew in and reset it, thus giving it to SoR on their borderlands.

Also these forums infract you for saying the h word.

Yep as kelo said we could simply use an influx of good wvw players. We cant maintain 24/7
