Lets talk about this weeks match here! As always, lets keep it classy and polite!

Came home after work early on Saterday morning to find this:

Miller´s Sound – green
Gandara – blue
Jade Sea- red

Gone be a hard 2 weeks, but we on the Gandara server dont give up so easy.
Our night team are increasing with dedicated players and comanders that like a challange.
If you want to be a part of it you are welcome to join.

I was on most of the night as our numbers gradually decayed and bit by bit we conceded our holdings. Most of our commanders were fighting but we didn’t have a good number of people.

We had Stonemist for a brief period but the Germans kept on coming.

I like what i’m reading. We experienced over the last 3 weeks that our oponents gave up to early after losing the first night. Dont know why but it seems that we are the only server making up some kinda event for the reset having 300+ people on our WvW teamspeak and getting prepared for some awesome fight for the orbs or Stonemist.

Just keep up the fight since our regular nightshift aint that big (20-40 people during the week).

That kind of preparation is admirable, we could tell that your strength wasn’t just in numbers, unlike the server that beat us in our previous match-up. A couple people also pointed out that you have climbed the rankings a fair bit, would you say that the organization of your server has increased a lot in recent weeks?

I’d say that we are still learning in terms of organization and tactics and sure we try to improve every single day. But therefore we will need to take a beating i guess. Dont like how actually some people already think we could play the T1 bracket.

Short wvw story of our server:
We started at the very last bracket into the 1-week-matchups as a low population server. While we got beaten in almost every daylie match we had no people joining wvw for karma and exp only. So we could group up almost every single player who was only dedicated to wvw and not to zerg around for karma etc. That allowed us to organize something like setting up a server teamspeak and think about some general tactics. All that worked out pretty well and we came out with a victory in the first weekly match. Since then we won every following matchup (besides one 2nd place against pikensquare) and the winning-team-joining started. While on many servers wtj became a serious problem, the people who joined our server had to integrate themselves in our already existing structures which worked out good so far. Lets hope we can keep it up a lil longer ^^

5 weeks ago i joind the Gandara WvWvW for the first time. Never been in to the PvP thing. The opponents was one SP server and a FR. We got overrunned and beten like no other. Sometime it was close to give up.
But people dident give in and and that made me happy even if my feet was sticking up from the ground most of the time

The battle after we had 2 EU servers for two weeks. Gandara then had a blast. Giving in like never before. Played like we did against the FR and the SP. We often owned the maps. The nightcrew became stronger. Commanders just popped up everywhere.
So fun!
The Last two weeks have been fun. Fighting the Gunars and Fort Ranik at the same time was a challange. Many times we got hit from the back by a team when storming the other. Fighting Gunars was fun. A nice EU server with the same spirit as us, but Fort Ranik was hard. Most of them had a diffrent timezone. Often we chased them on the run even if we where outnumberd buy 10 to 50. But in the end we couldent hold them of…we had to sleep sometime.

Now we are meeting the superserver Miller´s Sound with elite guilds from the gaming country Germany and the french Jade Sea. This is going to be a superhard challange (probebly a defeet) that will give us more experiance and make us even more determined to never give up….

Well, i’ve been on Miller borderlands until now and you seem to be able to mobilize quite a few people (we have no queue so far).

With Gandara whacking on our Bay and Jade Island on our fort, it was quite clear that we had to give up on one of them.

Now i guess it will be Gandara left and Jade Island right both attacking our fort.

Wonder if Millers Sound still gone be so great when they move upp in the ranking and they gets some real opponents?
If they still gone fight when its not going so good anymore, or are the guilds gone leave again and join some lower tier servers as the rumors say…?

I dont know…just listen to alot of players and friends from other servers….

Cant really say since we havent lost yet. But i hope that many wtj’s will leave then since i dont like to have queues Not that we have to wait more than 60 minutes but at primetime they can be a bit annoying already. Speaking for one of the greater guilds i can assure you that [ECL] wont leave the server and i guess a few others will be loyal for sure too.

Hm, a Gandara Player glitched into Askalonian Hills, poor guy, called [censored sry], destroying our altar of power. He was sitting in the ceiling of the boss room, I think he were able to kill him. But well, lost a tower because of a battle symbol in the inner ring of our keep. Thanks for reporting him, glitching shoudln’t be tolerated.

If you’ll ever see a Miller’s Sound player doing the same, call me and my fellows will help report him.

Stop accusing a whole server for the actions of a single player! Dont tell me you believe that this is a common strategy of Gandara and everyone on this server is begging their cheaters to go ruin the game.
Do you want to be called a cheater just because there is that one rawberry guy on Miller’s Sound who keeps flying around from time to time since almost 4 weeks now? I guess not! So just stop those unnecessary posts!

I’ve talked to the player you said had hacked, and he says he’s being framed. I don’t have any clear evidence that singles him out as the hacker that I can present to him, so I can’t go any further; I think he very well may be right. Given how hard he’s worked to help the server, a stranger’s word isn’t nearly enough to convince me that he’s lying or report him.

You’ve given good evidence that someone hacked their way into the altar room, but it doesn’t identify who did it. If you have a screenshot with the hacker targeted, showing the guild tag and/or the character model, that would help a lot. If it turns out he’s been lying to both of us, then I won’t hesitate to report and do all I can to have his guild drop him.

Millers Sound just another average server with coverage. lol @ xanti.. winning server joiners.. you mean the 20/30+ guilds you recruited from other servers right?. Even then you still could not win a prime-time.

My guild are usually all over WvWvW but this week we’ve barely touched it due to the Halloween event but when the server reset we were there when a Commander implied he would be glitching and needed people, the majority playing at the time said no, flat out refused and stopped going to his location, leaving him high and dry.

Gandara doesn’t do hacks even when we’re out numbered. If we know someone is planning on it, we tell them not to.

Don’t label the whole server because one person decided to do wrong by you guys.

Hi all.

Just came home from work and feel i have to share a clip i found on this forum.
It does not have anything to do with this topic or even WvWvW but i think it will give you all a couple minutes of relaxation in the battle. The video is made by a guild call Mist Angels.
Clips like this make me love this game even if the match are going against us.
If you can, look at it in highes reselution and turn up the volume.

Looks like the Jade Sea and Gandara are coming back to life. Even if its a long way to go its not impossible…

Come on Gandara we must atleast pass Jade Sea and then the hunt beginns..

It is like i said.. our nightshift aint great We had alot of trouble this night. We’ve lost all but 2 keeps and barely managed to defend our last orb with outmaned buffs all over the maps. Was fun though ^^

Having fun is the most importing thing even if you had lesser great night.
Cant wait to join in. Been working 4 nights. Now its time for some sleep.

Bold words from a person, who did the same thing a while ago. Accusing whole Aurora Glade in using mesmer exploit, while in last two days of our matchup your server used multiple times to capture our Garrison we put so much effort returning from your zerg.

PS: Excuse me for Off-topic and Good Luck to Gandara and Jade Sea, we had good fun fighting you guys earlier, good sport!

I dont know how many times i have to explain it over and over again -.- I dont know, maybe you were to lazy to read my entire posts in that specific thread or maybe you just dont get what i wrote there (i mean i usually write and talk german so you might just have misunderstood me), but i never accused the whole aurora server for using an exploit!

That was the last time i explained my intentions since i guess there are people out there who just dont want to understand them and rather pick out a few words and make up their own fairytale out of those words….

Enough of Hacking or Cheating. It is not the tactics and ways of any server, just fools who think they’re helping lets leave it out. and return this thread to a thread for innocent banter and tales of ye olde match.

On a more cheery note you guys are a nice fight, both servers. As a commander I have been popping around all the maps often and each time it’s a hard fight.

I hope Millers loved the Gandaran ninja capping of the garrison FR borderlands the night before last That was mine and Commander Beldy’s handiwork

Evening all.

The orbs are gone, sweet. Think it will help servers to get back in the match when they are out numberd.
But the orbs could still be in the game and give buffs like kharma, gold and exp.
The leading team should have some profit.

Sad that this thread dont have more posts compared to others W3 battle posts.

The last update from the W3 this Friday evening EU time:

Yep the orbs are gone and the Gandaran War machine is in full flow! The fighting has been fun and Gandara is gunning for you Jade Sea!

I really thought Gandara would nip in to second at the end, they were working bloody hard. But Jade Sea panicked and got together ready to fight back

Time for a new post for Gandara.
