Hi, my server is usually red, and according to the board it is one of the worst servers at WvW atm. I have managed to get most of the map completion in WvW done however, except for eternal battle grounds GREEN. Although I’ve been told that my server has been green a few times in the past, I really don’t see it happening in the near future…on the scale of months even.

So, is the only thing left for me to do, is wait an indefinite amount of time till my server manages to get green…..

or
……. pay 1800 gems to transfer to a server with WvW GREEN status, and then another 1800 gems to transfer back to my original home server???? (current price of gold/gem (7.83g per 100 gems) would equate this process to cost 281.88 gold….for a few points of interest).

Its a bit aggravating…I have all I need for my legendary weapon..and I can’t craft it because my server has low standing in WvW? On a certain level…. this doesn’t make sense — but most of all, this is just UNFAIR, in a game that thrives on balance and player equality; unfair for the thousands of players that are on low standing WvW servers.

If anyone else feels the same way or has recommendations for this situation, I would really appreciate your comment ty

Color assignment in the matches is done at random, not based on rank as it use to be. In the leagues the colors for each match were determined before the league play started. However, season 1 is finished this Friday and we will be back to random draw for opponents and color. So just be patient and wait until your server draws green. That or put together a huge group of map completionists and go push green.

I’d wait. I got WvW world completion done pretty quickly on Eredon Terrace when it was at the bottom of the regular rankings and even managed to get some Borderlands map completions done while other servers were assigned the map. At the time, the biggest challenge was getting Stonemist Castle because, at the time, it seemed like we’d never take it. If you already have that, everything else is just a matter of time.
