I do a lot in WvW, capturing, build sieges, defending and kill/support I lot of people.

My character have only lvl 61 and medium itens and I the major of it is from the PvE and AH. ( I do 1 dugeon and go to lvl 62)

I thing we need more XP and Itens from WvWvW scaling when you playing much time, like me do.

If you look at it seriously there is quite a lot of XP to be had there. The majority of it comes from capturing locations and disrupting supply. If you are on a server that ALWAYS has each and every location there is little for you to attempt to get xp from other than kills and resets. I suggest doing some PvE map clearing for good xp and wait till the good worlf v world line-up’s start.

i do think its fine, i went from 71 to 80 in 2 hours in WvW because captures gives far more xp than just doing random things.

getting to the end goal (capture/defense) gives a lot more reward than constantly doing the little things in between.

and this is the reason why they dont give the exp associated with the end result.. because then WvW would turn into a big deathmatch, that is, if killing players gave 2-3k exp per kill… people wouldnt care to even look for keeps, they would run to the area where they could kill people , and thats it.

same thing for other objectives.. the only way to get around this is have anyone who wants rewards, working toward that common goal of attack/defense.

but i can say that rewards are fine after having done 2 hours worth on the weekend and at one time was getting so many levels it was ridiculous, and once i hit 80… it was all about gold, we as a group had more than 6 gold from just captures alone

I think XP gained from WvW is actually too high for the objectives.

Took a keep last night – sure was a though fight against one of the other servers – and got around 60K XP for it.
Taking towers, control points, killing dolyaks, flipping supply camps or the defending of the sames – it adds up quickly.

1000 kills is a consequence of what I do in the map, I never search for kills.

The major problem I thing is the items, I never receive a rare item from the WvW.

There is enough XP in WvW and there are still too much people only in WvW for karma. I’d be glad to see more XP+Karma on kills and not more on events to actually have players fighting.
