The dolyak parade did again end in tragedy, but we made a (virtually) full lap around FABL! Didn’t have that many yaks to escort though as the camps tended to be the wrong color for sending them out.

Sorry this is out of the blue but does the name Realm Guardians mean anything for you?

Got to be on the other side of Breakout event yesterday with 9 other Toasties on FABL. The first time was a failure.
So we returned to spawn, started the event again, took off our armor and got naked, spawned a few fireworks, and made our way back to Briar with the NPC with all the fireworks, took the gate down eventually, capped the tower – all while being naked.

Thanks a bunch! GoF has received a wonderful welcome from CD and has truly enjoyed fighting alongside the server. Great job TC and FA, you guys are giving us a hell of a fight!

Edit: Actually upon further review of the context of this image, it would be more accurate to state that I was, “all spamming /say chat with ‘DOLY IS NEUTRAL, LEAVE THEM’”.

12/20/12 – aprox 10:00pm PST – EB – SM wall top – suddenly have FA on wall top via mesmer portal – SM fully upgraded with no walls or doors down. They took out the treb they could not reach and some other siege then ran off.

Previous post was infracted so I will not post what I saw since that is apparently a violation of forum rules. If the guild of my target is interested in what I saw happen message me.

Incident was reported as well as submitted a ticket to ANET.

FA, you guys are a blast. Thanks for bringing the fight to TCBL… I was there for crafting but suddenly found myself sucked in to some pretty intense fighting. If you saw a Necro with the tag BIF desperately beating at your front lines at the South Bay wall with massive amounts of AOEs, that was me!

I sure hope TC is taking a break and preparing for the reset because the maps are barren today…FA and CD are having a field day with us atm.

After seizing control of the lands in Crystal Desert’s home borderland and remaining uncontested for over an hour, excepting a few trespassers that were summarily executed, I have decided to separate from the petty server squabbles and create my own land: Niimland

Legal deed attached.

To be a good neighbour I provide the following rightsL

FA – you may use my lands as they were your own, welcome to stay at my tower and use my supplies. You may be called upon to help defend for this honor.

TC – you may cross my lands if you are heading to Bay, but only along the road. As Lord Niim dislikes almost all of you, he reserves the right to execute you at random, its OK though, it is not personal.

CD – sorry, you left, no rights for you.

All enemies will incur the wrath of Lord Niim, but he just wants to live in peace, other then the odd execution, so he encourages you to live peacefully with him.

PS – after discussing the matter with a lowly CD peasant unworthy of execution, Lord Niim has agreed that he was hasty in not providing any rights to CD. The new rights extend to the use of the road to attack TC objectives, and because he doesn’t dislike CD, at this time, he will avoid random executions.

The last few times I logged in, Jadon had his commander tag telling people to /sleep in front of keeps/tower doors, and sometimes in front of enemy spawns.

There isn’t a point to put a whole lot of effort when you’re 100k+ ahead of 2nd place and tier 2 reset is within 24 hours.

Why you gotta be mad. Its good our servers get a break from each other. I’m just sad to see TC/CD split up the major parts of the dolyak parade are torn from each other.

Lol nice, that parade got bigger. I had to log because it was getting late for me and figured after a death would be a good time.

Is it me or is the rating-gap between TC and IoJ getting smaller? It was 25.000 this morning, it seems to be just 15.000 now.

It got smaller, but it’s too late for IoJ to get a higher rating than TC. There’s a 15 point difference as of the scores posted an hour ago and there are 4 hours left of the match. FA is ahead of YB by 19 points so there won’t be a switch there either. IoJ/CD/FA is a lock now.

Just wanted to say… as a CD player, I love that post.

You should consider moving your home land to IOJ this week though. Likely a better strategy for your server than to continue spending man power fighting for a second place.

This is going to be so awkward when were back in a week. The rating system is, odd. Then again CD or FA might get somehow bumped down by IoJ and then bounced back up from T4 in two weeks time.

At least everyone is getting a nice change.

Based off of how other “new-to-tier” servers have influenced things before, it’s probably going to end up like this.

IoJ is going to tank in points this week, but will recover and begin gaining points next week. FA and CD will initially gain points and solidify the tier, but will return to the current status quo shortly after.

Tarnished Coast is initially going to gain a ton of points, but next week will begin losing points. Meanwhile, Sanctum of Rall will lose a small number of points while Blackgate will lose more, only for the status quo to return next week or the week after.

It’s a side effect of how the ranking system works and has nothing to do with the servers themselves. We’re all but guaranteed to be around for two weeks, and anything after that will be either a growing TC population/skill level, or pure luck.

When CD popped into Tier 3 we were losing points (as was FA) while CD gained points, but the next week things instantly changed — not all of that was our servers’ changing things up either. The same thing happened to YB when they dropped down to Tier 4 and is happening to Borlis Pass as they climb their way up.
