It is customary for the lowest placing team to move up one spot (when transfering), unlike the players on Yak’s who moved up to a higher tier altogether, and brought it down a tier as a result.

Edit: This isn’t a troll post. It’s what hundreds of players did when their server was losing badly during the mass free transfers. T1-3 are made up of 95% transfers.

Lol Mag gave us a fight last night, something we needed in EB. Thankfully we gave them a fight too. At the end Yaks Bend won.

Yeah, by the end of the night we only had 20 people left. Commanders figured we’d give it one last crack with 9 golems moving from your base to the inside of the keep in 3 minutes flat.

It failed, but it was fun.

Yeah lol i lost count how many golems we killed. When u guys were attacking SM we were attacking your keep lol. Thankfully we fell back at the nick of time and wiped. I would assume in of Ehmry bay’s golems and Mags in total it was around 25-30 golems destroyed yesterday. We still held our keeps and castle lol. Good fight better bring it tonight.

I don’t go in Eternal that often. I was surprised to see not only did Ebay allow a WP to be made (by Yaks) at Overlook early in the week, but it was completely fortified, too. What do you guys do on your breakouts? Get 2 towers and leave? That’s terrible.

World versus world was cool at one time. Now though it is just the same servers week after week.

Yak’s bend keeps recruiting more people, even though they have a big enough lead already. All they do with those extra numbers is camp the portal spawns with siege, and type /dance, or /laugh. Really fun matchs, its so fun to be killed and made fun of at the same time, and it really makes you want to keep coming back for more. Half the players in any given match take it very seriously. The other half don’t say anything for fear of a serious WvWer bashing them.

Yak’s bend has pretty much ruined this tier for the last 2 weeks, with their 24 hour zerg, and their relentless night capping. I just can’t believe the game would allow 30 people to siege a base of 5 in the middle of the night. But GW2 does; which is probably why myself and many many others have decided to simply log out.

The WvW matches now feel like the matches in wow, where the other team has your team pinned in your graveyard. Except in WvW the match is like this 24/7 and it never restarts. No one on your team can leave this small confined area, anyone who tries to venture out is immediately mobbed by half a dozen rival team members. How exactly can the previous sentence be considered a fun time in a video game? Because that is what Arena net has turned the matchs in this tier into.

WvW was a great concept to bad though the developers overlooked something as simple as having one team out number another team. I mean you take any given sport any one, and does one team ever out number the other team? No it never happens. Why do you think that is?

You guys are facing a server that is competitive in T3. What do you expect to happen? If it wasn’t them doing it, it would be FA or CD doing the EXACT same thing.
I’m sorry you arent having fun with it, I really am. I’m not sure what server you happen to be on, all I know is that EB just got a large boost from HIRE transferring over from IoJ.

You know, we hear FA saying that WORD FOR WORD in T3. Last place always complains about being out manned, even in T2 I’ve seen it. I’m sure TC will be doing the same if we move up this week.

The “our server lost because of your zergs” line is getting pretty old.

The reality of Wv3 currently is population and participation. Have neither and your ranking will fall. Simple concept.

YB has lost to FA,CD and TC recently, and we understood why. Population. They did not “ruin” Tier 3. That played the game in it’s given state. They did not win because of “zerg”. The won due to server participation, skill and strategy. We learned from them with each loss, and for the most part did so with class. TC still gives us respect as we do them.

I do realize the limted number of posters on this forum does not represent servers as a whole, but my god you guys sure do whine a lot.

This and the previously closed thread are full of why YB is such a terrible server from our constant “zergs” to our lack of dueling skill.

YB has come a long way in the last few weeks. Our organization, repsonse times and leadership have improved each week. We try to win with class and learn from losses. And we try to do so with respect.

Well, actually I’m more amused by someone saying this specifically about Yak’s. Considering the prior winners were (for several weeks each) Fort Aspenwood and Crystal Desert. But no no, Yak’s is the one to ruin it with zerging and night capping. CD – you’re okay, Yak’s – night capping, 24 hour zerg terror.

CD was a lot more of a zerg server than Yak’s bend. Although it kind of blows my mind that there are somehow worse people at PvP than CD, yet here comes YB feeding me badges like candy.

I hope we stay in the same tier I’ll be buying like 40 sets of ascended gear once they put that crap in WvW vendors.

Honestly TC has a PROBLEM with server participation, believe it or not. The majority of our server is PvE and roleplay! We owe our success to our commanders and willing pugs~
