This match has gotten way too bipolar timewise. 10 in the morning EST!? Are we playing against people from Afghanistan? 1 complete map wipe twice a day by two different servers spending huge amounts of gold is not good. Well not good for the people spending the gold. I fight thrift wars so…but yeah, the dreaded bipolar tier. I thought Kaineng was the only server that did that. Sucks for the major guilds of FA. I predict…giant zerg treb sniping ram war with a bum rush to cap as much as possible in the time given. Fortified walls will become obselete in the bipolar match. Door will be torn down asap and big zerg will eat little zerg because of bipolar nature of match.
That was an amazing push by Dragonbrand across all of Eternal Battlegrounds for the last two hours. Fort Aspenwood turned all of Maguuma’s stuff to paper, which Dragonbrand gladly took back from us 30 minutes after we all went to bed, and you all woke up.
We barely managed to hold our keep for the night — Dragonbrand got in several times from multiple locations, and had us pinned to the hill waypoint behind our keep several times.
I was the thief keeping your keep waypoint contested for two hours straight throughout all of this.
Speaking of a clever use of game mechanics, I’m amazed at how organized the Dragonbrand players in Neconecoknight [NNK] are in regards to using that consumable gear nonstop to keep groups of players permastunned.
Every group of them I’ve seen today is using it, and there certainly are a lot of them around — so great job at that communication and teamwork, guys. You’re certainly showing us how good you can be.

lol clever use? they ported 10 people back. Hardly clever. Good job trying to troll better job pointing out even though they out numbered they had to resort to another PvE mechanic to help them pull out the win.
I must have been hit a hundred times from FA with those stinking gears too. DB is not the only one using them. Chill out – they will get removed just like golem-in-a-box did.
Probably getting hit by them via reflects on your own trash guild using them like GiB.

Well, I’m sorry to hear that – But I was in the Vent channel the day we discovered the golem-in-a-box. One of our officers kept getting hit with them by FA outside of Bay on our BLs, and were like ‘what the heck? I keep getting hit by rockets?’ – they googled what it was and then people started buying them like candy bars. We would have been none the wiser if FA wasn’t using them first.

But i remember the day i logged on when we were FIRST up against DB, people in chat were freaking out over DB’s ability to destroy rams without siege.. safe to say that day a lot of people on FA begun looking in to them and using them, but if there was use of golems on FA before we came up against DB it was EXTREMELY isolated.
It is rather ridiculous that there are entire zergs or groups of people spamming these spikefruit though, it is the absolute lowest of the low. Granted this stuff should NEVER make it in to WvW, but people should have some sort of decency and not use them.

Guys, please stop acting like anet cares about people taking wvw seriously. Find a ridiculous consumable? Use the ridiculous consumable. If they remove one, there’s a long list of others to use. I’m pretty sure wvw is just pve++ to them, so relax and have fun.

I’ve got no idea who did throw the first golem, it really has no baring on what is happening right now though. and i am the same, i mean i fooled with a few golems to see what the fuss was about but i think i threw a MAX of maybe 5 or 10 at rams and found out i’m better off just drilling the guys using the rams. but i flat out refuse to use spikefruit and gears, If i’m gonna vs people i’d rather do it in the spirit of the game and have a fair fight, or as far as can be possible given some of the obvious imbalance in-game.
Saw a guy run at me with a gear, ready to chunk it(yeah I knew the drill, hehe).
Dropped a Supply Crate on him, deployed Net Turret and a Rocket Turret…

Whoever this guy was, can you give lessons? The Mortar is really tough to use and I know a lot of players would appriciate some tips.
We fought several times and enjoyed playing with you. You got several kills off me, but I have also farmed some of you guys. My guild focuses on smaller, fights so when I see 5v5 or situations when its 2 of you vs 3 of us or 3v3s, I like those fights, win or lose.
The large zergs are all about fighting large zergs, and thats ok. Our areas are more into being tactical squads and fighting against other tactical squads. Your area is roaming, so continue to roam.

Reset night in hills the first day db was in t3 was the first night I saw golem spam from EA in your BL’s hills. Anyway they’ll be nerfed soon, now it’s just waiting for the pain to go away… =p i’ll be on guardian while I wait though.
