Reset night in hills the first day db was in t3 was the first night I saw golem spam from EA in your BL’s hills. Anyway they’ll be nerfed soon, now it’s just waiting for the pain to go away… =p i’ll be on guardian while I wait though.

Maybe because they didn’t come whining to forums when it happened? Anyway I have never used Golems nor gears so stop saying you guys like you are some child who can not understand that just because one person is member of a certain group(in the case a server) means all other people are just like them.

SOOOO, if you wanna get technical – FA used it on us first.

You’re missing the point entirely. The point is, an entire guild used them to gain an unfair advantage and trying to draw a comparison between that and a rogue individual from any server using it is asinine.

I’m not crying about it at all – I actually kinda felt bad for the people who needed to use them. I just don’t think it’s accurate to brush it off and say “Well, some guy from FA did it first, so that gave our entire guild an excuse to drop down to his level.”

I’m just saying those who openly admit their whole guild was using them don’t really earn any respect or show integrity, period. Nobody is going to be surprised if we see EA out there spamming gears with NNK, basically.

I know I shouldn’t be suprised, but I still can’t help it. So much finger pointing going on in the threads for the last several weeks. And the worst part about it is all the “Forum Warriors” wearing their infractions and suspensions as if they were badges of honor. It’s just sad.

I personally am still enjoying great fights while witnessing evolving strategy and even seeing some old and reliable tactics resurface. Still have to hit PvE to keep my account coffers stocked but then again I never really enjoyed the chaos of large 30+ vs 30+ combat. I’ll try to get over it and earn my karma/coin while helping my server.

I think there’s some miscommunication between the groups arguing here — one saying, “everyone’s doing it,” and the other saying, “you’re doing it the worst.”

Of course every server has someone abusing these items, and if you learned about it from having it done to you, who cares. When someone is complaining about a guild, the point isn’t that they started it.

The point is there are a limited number of guilds that will spread knowledge of an exploit, that also have the mentality to use it to their advantage as a team. It’s bad because you have the additional organization to take towers and keeps in situations where you’d otherwise be outmanned while you’re abusing it. It reflects poorly on your group, because you obviously have all discussed it enough to know it is a broken mechanic, to know it is unfair play, but you continue to take it to extremes and use it to win.

Keeping an entire group permanently stunlocked without a cooldown is just as much an exploit as breaking the map to enter a keep without knocking down a wall or gate. Most of us aren’t whining or mad over this, we’re just disappointed to know we play against such large groups that are willing to use those exploits even when they know it’s wrong.

You missed my point entirely as my post was made in jest – Golems arent in the game anymore and people are still QQing about them. An “entire” guild didn’t use them, as i only knew of 3 . . . maybe 4 people use them out of the 40-50+ people we field in WvW and i spoke out against the use of GiB. Like i said, GiB is gone, let it go.

Gears and spikefruits, imo, are more broken than GiB by a longshot. PvE items need to either be removed from WvW entirely or heavily adjusted if they are allowed to stay in.

Yeh, you are crying about it alot. It’s amusing that you are so angry at EA (given that as I know only a handful actually used them). Continue with your QQ. Want me to name all the guilds that have used gears and golems on me? Tell them how horrible they are for spamming such an obvious misuse of the item. Sorry, I’m not that low. Nor do I care. I don’t even post about it in the forums.

u dont get it do u?the mesmer died right at the watergate and was rezzed from outsinde and placed the portal at that gate from inside and did portal them in without going outside so basically through the wall and yes we were there watching as u can see in the pics. we did kill mesmer during the sweep. before answering u might wanna check what was going on none rezed him from inside! he died purposely on that spot so he could get rezzed through he wall.

I shall be polite then, if there was someone on the other side ressing, 1 arrow cart on that watergate will easily stop them (if not even 1 person’s auto attack). This should be treated the same way as a thief that is alive inside a Keep while an allied mesmar is dead. You need 1-2-3 people monitoring the corpse until it releases. I will gladly afk and browse interwebs while monitoring a mesmar corpse inside a Keep/Castle/Fort

Now it would be one if there was nobody there to revive him and he comes back up or if there was never a breach that allowed a mesmar to hide inside, but as that screenshot shows there is no exploit.
