I figure since the servers involved most for this matter likely visit this thread, I must ask; “Do the other servers still resent GoM for the fact that people used flying hacks or just hacks in general?”

I ask this because I only recently started playing WvW after getting to 80 and I love it. But my freinds in the our guild talk about transfering servers for various reasons but probably most for the consequences hacking has wrought on our server.
I am personally under the opionion that at this point it no longer matters but I’m curious to hear opinions from the other servers.

I’m just trying to keep people together here.

only been playing 5 weeks but ive never heard of any hacking from GoM…

I doubt it. There was a good bit of animosity towards GoM early on, but people eventually realized those same flyhacking and orb exploits were taking place on every server. Not sure if those originally responsible got banned or quit (popular theory has it that the flyhackers were jumping from server to server just to stir the pot), but we definitely paid the price for it in the long run. GoM was the first server to suffer a huge WvW population drop as our early prominent guilds wanted to dissociate completely from that checkered history and start fresh elsewhere. We’ve been trying to re-build ever since.

This week, let’s get an event in one of the JP Kitten Rooms. No sense letting one of ANet’s great Easter Eggs go to waste!

Not at all mate. It’s a bummer that some bad apples can lower a server’s reputation, but everyone else has been so awesome that we’ve by and large forgotten about it.

Good to see more people getting into WvW, even if it’s on another server!

it seems i only need to read the first 7 days of actium’s story, the rest is going to be copy and past. day 1,7,14,21,28 etc are all the same story it seems.

After battling for hours after reset on GoM homeland, a little downtime was great. Thanks a bunch to whomever was dropping those Boxes o’ Fun! It’s really nice that we can do that sort of things sometimes. I look forward to our future skirmishes!

Had tooo much fun on GoM bl last night. kept getting yelled and laughed at in my guilds mumble as they watched me infuse myself with a gom zerg XD.

Couple of us had a bit of fun spending some time holding south supply in GoM’s borderlands last night.

Sorry to the opposing crew (forget which server it was tbh) that stopped in for a bit of action to find this and some siege sprinkled around… and some [PD] reinforcements that were sneaking through.

not getting kitten on you, was a bit over kill since we didnt have defenders in there at the time, there was likw 10 of us. havent seen sm flip so much ion a while now. Great fights all around, all day today

DH should be excited. If NSP carries on the way they started the week DH will be moving up a tier!!

This just in……. Breaking News…… HoD retook their keep in eb after an hour or so of fighting. I must add we keep you guys at bay for a bit with 5-10 solders of DH at first and no supplies with outer wall down. What a great fight, lets do it again

q_q at HoD last night I was harassing the siege zerg just outside sm……maybe not so much harassing as playing a mix game of red rover/ pop the weasel. came across a swarm army of plush griffons…. tried to take kitten of this masterpiece but as soon as my house when up fire came raining down :/

Sure was! Lots of good fighting all over the map tonight. Being able to stuff large forces from DH and HoD at the same time was just icing on the cake.

It was fun flipping HoD’s Bl tonight. We had like 15 siege golems. I’ll post screenshots later.

While Henge of Denravi was running golems over our map, Darkhaven was hitting them in the back on our map runnin breakout events.

Later when Darkhaven was making pushes on our map, I saw Henge of Denravi holding 2 towers on the Darkhaven borderlands.

Alright. I just have to say that GoM is doing a fine job of defending their keep thus far. We’ve [DH] been attacking it for 4 hours now. In no particular order…

1.) Trebs from Mendon
2.) Rams at Water Gate
3.) Trebs from Anz Hill
4.) Trebs from Island in the Lake
5.) Rams at Front Gate
6.) Catas at West Gate
7.) 15-Golem Rush (this one actually got us to the Lord Room)
8.) Second 10-Golem Rush
9.) More Rams at Water Gate

Clearly, you guys are determined to hold on the keep & Veloka Tower. Nonetheless, we will persevere. Good fight!

Edit: After a final 25-Golem Rush (Of which a few were Omegas), we were finally able to take GoM Keep! Well fought.

P.S. In the time we took to siege GoM Keep, HoD was able to retake their entire side of EB.
