Best reset night in a while! TC comes out swinging! I am loving it!

It’s a shame ArenaNet is hurting the WvW population.

Why a reset ON A FRIDAY again? It seems we only have patches on FRIDAYS. This demoralizes people from logging back in. We lost a lot of people after the patch for the stupid event.

The second thing is culling hasn’t been this bad in AGES. Why reverse it? SoR was completely “abusing” this culling crap in our Garrison. We’d have had it back LONG ago but they wouldn’t appear on our screen. Neither would their mesmers or portals. All of a sudden we’d be surrounded by the enemy.

This crap is ruining WvW. Change it back to where you can’t see Allies, I don’t care. But this is just terrible. What’s worse is ArenaNet is nerfing every single valid tactic because people are QQing that they can’t win with superior numbers. People hate that they simply cannot take over an entire map. Yet, they listen to those vocal minority and ruin the game for everyone thats happy with the state of WvW (before these terrible patches and culling issues 2 hours after reset).

Oh well. I had fun, but it’d been nice to have been able to take over stuff when we deserved it rather than getting wiped by invisible people. The culling so bad that guild claimers don’t spawn when a group of 5 go into a camp.

I’m not making any excuses. I’m making a rant that ArenaNet tries to please children in the holiday events more than the people that are making their game a success in WvW. I don’t need to make excuses. We’re 5-0 against SoR.

So you guys had BG garrison after reset and are wonderkids because of it. BG had SoR garrison during this same timeperiod, but I guess you just choose to ignore this fact.

SoR you guys really need to fight harder ingame and talk less on the forums, until you actually have something to back up all your statements.

But you see. This is my point. You’re still loosing. No matter what objective you have on the map, or whatever is happening at the time. You’re still loosing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to insult you. Tonight has been a ton of fun, and maybe this week will be different. But the fact is, up until now, you haven’t won a single match in almost two months.

First night is always the closest, with the largest turnout, from my experience. That also means it tends to be the most fun!

We’ll see how it pans out for the week, especially with christmas an’ all, but some really awesome fights from all corners so far.

Also, I’m sure Blackgate and Toast got hit just as bad, and you all know me well enough that I don’t smack talk of make excuses. I know for a fact SoR is missing 45-50% of our force. At least in CDS I have nearly half of my hardcore members traveling, because we’re all old farts (a lot of members are 30+) with children, and theyre missing most of this match. Which sucks, because Toast are proving to be helluva opponents so far!

I truly look forward to next reset when all 3 of us have our full fighting force in the field! Prepare for server lag

I play to have fun not just to win. I enjoy the game mode for what it is and the teamwork required to play it. Win or lose we still seem to kick your butt and it has been a lot of fun tonight and I will agree with that. This match is also very different for the both of us and it’s nice to have a change. WvW reset so no need to push out your chest so quickly, you aren’t even in the lead anyway!

Also you mean losing, not loosing. Seems like BG has bad education there. They need to put more funds into schooling!

@BG & SoR: I understand that you have a lot of history together and probably are at each other’s throats for good reasons, but can we all agree to be nice this week since it’s a holiday and half of the players aren’t around in WvW? This week really doesn’t matter too much because of that.

Let’s have a costume party or something? Forum flaming should be channeled into fun, at least until Friday.

I don’t know how to actually abuse this culling business… but I’m not about to reveal my mesmer secrets when it comes to good portal bombing. It’s pretty simple… Thieves use it all the time. ^^

When Blackgate gets accused of being a hacking server because a player hacks, or gets called hackgate, you all ask that and say that he entire server can’t be blamed for the decisions of a few bad players. Likewise for spying, example in the thread that was just removed.

Since you don’t enjoy sweeping generalizations, I ask that you respect your own sentiment and not do the same. If you refer to ANY of the past few weeks threads, you’ll see that it is a very small vocal minority that continue to throw kitten around in their words, or stir up some good old troll bait. These select few forum warriors Do NOT represent our community as a whole.

So as I have honored your wishes to not condone sweeping generalizations, I think it would be appropriate for you to do the same. Many of us fight tooth and nail in game and simply come here to compliment or get score updates (especially if you’re a third shift employee like myself) , with a new server in our midst, let’s not give them a bad public opinion about our servers, yeah?

I completely agree with you good sir. It is just that those extremely vocal trolls on these forums week after week from SoR never (not that I have seen) get talked down by other SoR. In fact, some other SoR guilds have joined in the trolling. Not saying BG has been perfect in this manner in by any means, but there are a number of us who try to point out when other BG players are out of line etc.
