“Pros:

• Good Control — Stun / Immobilize at least one target on a ~3 second CD
• Immobilize — If you want to immobilize your target, you can try to aim for a +50-100% condition duration build which will get you 1.5s-2s second immobilizes on your target.
• Good Armor-Negating damage — Perplexity runes offer us the ability to stack 25 confusion easily. This is 3-4k damage whenever the affected target “acts” even if it is to clear the condition. Since it lasts 15 seconds, you can be sure they’ll hurt in one way or the other. (Having your enemy do nothing for 15 seconds is good control as well wink)
• “Perma” Confusion — Stunning every 3 seconds for 5 stacks of 15 second confusion means 25 stacks of confusion indefinitely.
• Surprisingly good health pool for a Thief (16-20k)
• Should have anywhere from 3-20 stacks of might
• Good access to vigor/dodging"

How do you guys feel about this thief build in wvw?

Perplex nerf will probably be a 15+ ICD, more than likely 30. Perm confusion stacks should go away

I for one hope it’s a 90 sec cooldown. There are plenty of less powerful runes that have 90 sec cooldowns for a powerful effect to happen even though most of them have only a slight CHANCE of that 6 rune bonus proccing. The 6 rune bonus on perplexity is guaranteed to happen on interrupt, yet has no cooldown? What genius thought that was ok?
