Okay, the thing I will do right now is very low, and I am thoroughly ashamed for it, but one member of Chaos already made a thread where he showed what some members of DL write, so I believe I can response with the same thing. This post is taken from a thread on Goha where DL and Chaos pretty much insult each other, so – business as usual, but this one made me laugh a bit.

If you translate it from Russian you will see that he tells that Chaos International is only a temporary measure and in the end Russians should push all other nations off Blacktide.
Interestingly enough, this is not the official position of Chaos atm, as far as I know it, but this is the mindset of some of their low-rank members, which kinda makes me – as a member of a international server with many great people from many nations – very sad.

Just repaying my Chaos friends with the same coin. Though you can be sure – we will not try to plant our commanders on the 3rd server.

Anyone who might have the mindset of an all-Russian, or all-anything, server will quickly learn that there are advantages to having others around, and due to the size of Chaos (in this particular case), they don’t have to play with us if they don’t like it

Official Chaos position = MAxs. Who wanted only ru server play on Vabbi now. We want strong WvW server and there is no difference for us between ru/eu/us/etc guilds. Ofc we don’t like pve guilds, but we will glad to see any new WvW guild on our server.

Hey, you guys did the same to us right before that, we had 5 people in hills against your golems :p

Not entirely sure where that Elona zerg went tbh, they shouldve expected us to come for garrison after we took back hills. I logged off after that to delve into the grueling depths of video editing (never done it before, other vids i ahve were jsut “Put bits together with windows movie maker and upload”, here i actually did a limited amount of editing, and i’m one of those people who’ll have every weird problem happen to them that people who have done this for years ever even heard of) and dinner.

I do think it’s a real shame that Blacktide doesn’t have a real day presence. It was so awesome to fight you guys during the morning/afternoon and from one moment to the next there’s like 5 Blacktide players on each map. It’s like your entire server went to sleep.

Anyway, if the rumors about Xoas are true with spying and everything else than all I can do is shrug and go “it’s a game, I’ll get over it”. I will still be roaming around near your supply camps killing Doly’s and trying to get as many kills as possible before going down. I definately made some Elonah player angry today as they started sending me tells with, as far as I can understand German, was mostly cursing.

I would like to thank the 2 players (Thief and Guardian) from Blacktide (believe one was from CIR) that gave me one hell of a battle, I eventually beat them @ the southern camp on FSP BL they then came back and only did /bow and left again.

Now if I can find a way to beat those freakishly annoying tanky build D/D Ele’s my day would have been perfect!

Question for ThUn guild – about what happened at Sunday at FS border. When you took bay keep, I, sadly, wasn’t there at the time – I was holding, Elona who attacked our Garrison, so maybe you can help me. Was there a guild with RuNL tag with you? They are a bit of an old acquaintances from one game, and their leader says that they were there at the bridge inside the keep with about 10 ThUn, so maybe some of you can tell – how many of them were there?

I don’t think us on FSP will be able to keep up with the Blacktide morning onslaught. Our weakness is that our primetime is contested and we will have to find a way to fill those gaps by finding a morning/night force.
So far however I like this matchup a lot.

EDIT: We were ahead 5-6k in points of Blacktide during the weekend and just got demolished mondaymorning. Blacktide had a 600 point lead per tick for atleast 6-7 hours. They have shown they are either willing to sacrifice sleep to win or simply have a good force in our off hours. Either way, they earned the win so far.

Much respect to Elona. Always a good experience to play against you guys, learn from your tactics etc. You guys are strong in primetime and face our challenges, good tactics & good individual players. In my eyes you are one of top skilled servers in EU.

Far Shiverpeaks have some of the top WvW guilds in EU but they need to get support from the rest of the server or we will drop down in the future.

It’s a simple math, you have 96h per day to cover in WvW, how much one guild can bring on the field? 6h, 8h?

For me it’s not a shame to admit we have a problems to solve but what we have to keep in our mind is that we know how to play WvW, we have organization in top guilds and we have to work on fresh blood, new guilds that will help us cover the problematic zones and gather more points.

and xaoc – i saw some good players in your guild BUT most your players play like rdm ppl from other games using “guides” in gw2
1. everyone and there dog is a glasscanon or lowlvl
2. you do everyday the same^^ – wait for 40-50 guildmembers than run for all 3 orbs and than move on – easy to predict^^
3. you should rly bring your members to sotp hitting everything lol you are first server we dont need scouts cause on map we see where you going

Blacktide PvE sever.. we have alot PvE guilds here. We HAVENT line on ANY borderlands in any time and we in Tier 2 its a Joke?……. so easy

Just to clear this up – GF is not an alliance tag. Chaos guilds on BT all have the same tag, but that’s not the case on FS. We are part of DL alliance which got 4 Russian guilds in it. all with different tags, Green Fire is one of the guilds there. Actually, we have another guild on FS with the same tag – Guardian Force, but they are not part of DL alliance )

Anyway nice fights from both servers, had a blast. T2 is definitely completely different league than T3

Well I sure as hell wasn’t proud of our (FSP) accomplishments during the day. It took us over 4 hours to take Ascension Bay (although it was fully upgraded and had full supply). I left the zerg at some point to make sure little to no doly’s got to AB but my god we were bad.

I must say though that FSP feels like a ghost town compared to 2 weeks ago (pre Desolation matchup). Either people are really busy with the Halloween stuff, people left our server or simply don’t go on WvW anymore. We still have a proper force during primetime but that’s a 4-5 hour coverage, vs Elonah and Blacktide that’s simply not enough.

To give an example, I logged in about 30 minutes ago and we were still at 75 points per tick… So either our morning force was horrible again or there simply aren’t enough people to cover the maps. If our current effort, be that outnumbered through most of the day or just terrible playing, continues we are going to go down to T3.

we cant hold up on wvw because a lot people left fsp because they get tired of only having people active in evenings.

I play in FSP and I can say that Elona deserves to be in T1 for sure not just because they have alot more presence then Blacktide and us but mostly because they´re just better at WvW overall.

Blacktide are strong 3am-5pm in manpower which FSP doesn´t have any. I believe most of the players that made Desolation full came from FSP sadly so that would be the reason if we go down to tier3.

However I still see a chance to stay on tier2 by beating Blacktide

The ideal would be if the EU primetime FSP guilds moved over to Blacktide, In that time period we have two empty maps that need the presence of guilds.

The moving guild would have the benifit of having the Russsian Push beore them to prepare they way, as it were.

I have to admit, that I am a little bit astonished about FS performance in this matchup.
We on Elona were pretty excited to meet you again on the battlefield, cause we remembered you as really tough opponents, everyone on Elona said, that you deserved to be in T1.
This week it’s a totally different story, like someone switched off the lights at FS.
Whats up? Are your top commanders exhausted – like ours were a week ago?
Did important guilds leave FS?
All I can say is, I am a bit sad to see a highly respected server go down like this, and I just hope you get back on your feet and kick some a** again.
About the theorie that ER should be T1: I honestly don’t think so. We simply don’t have the manpower to make a stand there in the long run – not that I mind.

Yeah, its pretty bad imo, been a pretty boring WvWvW weekend compared to others, guess alot of people realm transferred or something.. Activity in WvWvW is low atleast.

Ehh the most pathetic thing is about your kitten pact vs Blacktide. The truth is that 1vs1 both of your servers would lose this battle. But yep… don’t attack each other, just focus on BT. Simply embarassing and dirty stuff

Considering ER wiped out FSP Bay Assault earlier when they were breaching the inner wall, it doesn’t look like a very good “pact” :p

Battles are fun the day I’d say.

This is my take on the situation on Far Shiverpeaks.

FS was the number one EU server and number two overall server for a very long time. This status gave us a huge pug following. The pugs would in a way take care of our morning/afternoon and in the evening the guilds would get in. This gave us a very strong day time force which allowed us to compete and stay in T1 for as long as we did. I’m not saying that the pugs were the ones in control, we had guilds in WvW during those times as well to coordinate the pugs. But they made up a good portion of the force 60/40. During the evening it was reversed, as the pugs faded out of WvW the guilds got in. This remained the case up until we got matched with Ruin (I’m saying Ruin because I don’t think this would have happened if they had stayed in NA).

Dropping down into T2 was no shame for us. We were still the number one EU server, and people were confident we would beat Kodash and especially Deso. Then Ruin came along and these pugs we held onto for so long abandoned the server to go to Deso as it was clear they would be the new number one EU server and maybe number one overall.

There are almost instant pops into any WvW map right now no matter what time. This has helped our guilds get in earlier but we no longer have the numbers we once had. Our guilds as good as they are can’t keep going all day, we need breaks.

We went from having one of the best day time force of any server in the EU bracket to not being able to field enough people for all 4 maps. Don’t get me wrong we still have a good prime time force.

I hope the guilds on FS stay as I think we have a good server alliance. We just need to work on getting other guilds in FS.

If any of you European Guilds getting bored or whatever,move to Sea of Sorrows NA server,we will have a big fight coming up next friday,and from then on 24/7,and we need a bit more European coverage.

How about you move to us? Rumour is, the fights on the EU servers are better than the ones on the NA servers :p

The fights wouldn’t be better for NA guilds. During our primetime they are at work so their fights will consist of fighting doors or RUIN if they choose a t1 server.

Guess it depends on the server, we couldn’t believe the difference between our old server and Blacktide when we transfered and are happily settled in by now

The fights for EU players on US servers would also suck, since during our (EU) primetime there would be very little activity. Much like how it is now on EU servers during morning up til noon. Only difference is it would be the whole day.

Been there, done that in other games on US servers. Back then I used to be a nightcrawler so I played during US primetime. I wouldnt want to do it again. US players fit better in on EU server when it comes to switching timezones, since they are 8 hours behind. Thats just how the world turns.

I think it’s not as bad on US servers since there are quite a lot of large worldwide communities which decided on US, and had their EU members go along.
On top of that, they’ve got the Asians and Oceanics, which also have weird timezones :p

Better coverage doesn’t mean better fights :p
But now i’m just being difficult for the sake of being difficult, i freely admit it

I have no personal experience with the fights on the NA side, and I intend to keep it that way, but that also means i can’t really say anything about it, except from hearsay.
To be fair, it would’ve been much better if there was no split to begin with tbh.
