So just out of curiosity…why does everybody hate BP so much? Not that it bothers me or anything…I mean common…we’re separated by a computer screen.

I’ve been wondering that myself…though to be honest, they’ve just been driving EB insane so I dunno from our end.

In the video that your wonderful guild BURN posted, the chatlog clearly says to sit and wait at spawn to make it seems like bp left the map. Dtz saying some things that could be taken the wrong way as well. You might want to hide chat next time. Good video though, it was interesting to see us from your guys’ point of view.

And idk how most of SBZY does it, but it seems like they have a waypoint keybinded to avoid that nasty repair bill they have. No backbone at all….

It was really cool to see some of the fights from the other side. I remember many of those fights and remember many instances where we were wondering what was going through their minds.

This video also is that smoking gun in the strategy debate that has been going on in this thread thanks to Kalkz. It appears that a valid and commonly used strategy employed by BP is to just port to spawn and wait it out rather than defend and fight. I guess people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

Anyways, some good fights this week so far. Aside from the regular forum warfare, things have been pretty entertaining in the two days we have been going at it!

If it bothers you, kill them like you did. Honestly, that’s like 10 players being useless up there, so you’re doing us a favor by sending them back to our spawn where they can be of some help. It’s not like they can do any good up there in your Citadel building big bad siege rams that literally can’t hurt a thing.

I am out of town and haven’t been on since reset, so I can’t say whether that’s how it went down or not. I just wanted to put this out there though… Often after a big victory or a major wipe PK will gather at spawn, call a 5 min bio/food break, figure out our next moves and then move out again. I doubt we are unique in this as i see many guilds gather and take a break from time to time mid raid. We haven’t ever actually said ‘Guys, lets hide and wait them out’ that i remember while I’ve been online, although it is clearly an effective strategy and I wouldn’t fault anyone for using it. If you don’t leave scouts until you are sure then its no ones fault but your own when you lose something. We’ve lost enough to poor scouting over the last 3 weeks to understand that.

I have read them and I don’t see anything but the same chest thumping, arrogant, “I’m better than you”, troll posts from each side. Along with the cool, praising, funny posts from others as well. Technically…everybody who posts in these forums is a spokesperson for their side so I don’t see how 1 (or 2 or 3) person(s) can get an entire server hated. What about all the good things our server says about yours? No? Don’t care? Ok carry on.

Oh and on the off chance (I dunno I could be wrong) you’re talking about Kalkz…Did you guys ever think that maybe he’s just livening up his game by some competitive kitten talkin. You know…much like the conversation when you play street basketball. At least that’s what I think when I read his posts.

Just today some of us in WvW get a random party invite from an Ebay invader (why is this allowed again?) asking for a cease fire to so we could gang up on BP. Since it has happened today I can only assume that they have cease fire agreements with BP to gang up on us since we are usually outnumbered.

Also LMAO at this “conspiracy theory” trash. As a Borlis Pass player I find the idea completely laughable. This shows an inability to come to terms with reality. Quit indulging in this fantasy, acknowledge the shortcomings of our own server and try to improve on them. We will get a lot more mileage out of that than we would on trying to pin our failures on cross-server espionage.

Awesome video. I remember that killzone you guys created in SW tower that was almost impossible to break through. Even with a wall already open, we had to open up another wall just to give us more attack angles.

Just to be clear, Arif Q/Child of the Atom is our own special potato. He is the one who builds useless siege in useless places to empty keeps of supply and openly brags about working with the enemy to help us lose. I doubt seriously if he does more than try to friend random EBayers to tell them where we are or what we have planned, and he could be lying about that to begin with. As stated, EBay doesn;t need spies to beat us.

No one knows why he is so angry with his server or why he didn’t move when he had the chance to do so. We have reported him ad nauseum, and ANet will deal with him when and if they see fit. Don’t let him get in your heads, it’s what he wants. Don’t let him become any sort of factor between servers, that would give him too much importance.

Edit: Also, if you see any Borlis player(s) cheating in any way, report them. ANet will decide if they were or not. Borlis as a server does not condone that sort of behavior at all.

Eh, bit of both. It seems like I never really see a “small” enemy group. It’s either massive or some pair of fools wandering too close to a battle. It’s kind of annoying because my favorite fights are usually the 10-15 on either side; anything larger seems to nuke my game lately. It’ll be fine one second, then suddenly it looks like stop motion, then I’m downed after missing several dozen frame, then I crash to desktop. -_-

I don’t think my members care enough to talk to some random BP about zerg locations. I’ve invited DTC justice to my guild so he could personally block all my members. He stayed a joyous 5 minutes after he finished.

We don’t need a spy to tell where a zerg is. All it takes is sending 3 members to different maps and ask on map chat “is there a big zerg here?”. Other indicators include watching only supply camps flip which most likely means golem rush.

Hiding 30+ people is a difficult challenge especially on a map that takes 5 minutes to traverse. Not sure who Arif Q is but I hope this remedies any worries.

Sometimes I think there is a bit too much negativity on these forums. I think actually all sides are playing really well and for the most part showing respect for their opponents. All sides have some really good players. I remember one EB commander that took 4 of us to take down, I was impressed. It was a display of some really good skills. I have also seen some great AR players. And of course seeing the coordination of SEKZ is always pretty impressive. I think as BP we are lucky to have such skilled opponents cause it has—and will continue to make us—better. Before we moved up a tier, we had it easy, but now we are really forced to dig deep and play hard.. and wins that come these days feel really rewarding. So thanks again to all sides for making this a fun (ok… and sometimes frustrating) couple of weeks:)

This is so correct. Every time a non-commander attempts to put in a suggestion it gets knocked aside and countered so ruthlessly that the other person feels so demorilised they don’t want to continue speaking. I have tried to put in some input as well, I got rejected and rejected. And I am not saying we have bad commanders, I’m saying the commanders should listen to other people as well. Just because you have a COM tag does not mean you get to be a kitten… IT’S 100G for kittensakes, not everyone has that.

I think they just had a bad couple of weeks and found their footing again. They consistently pull in larger numbers than we do in BP, which was especially obvious on reset night. The last couple weeks they have really won it in the first 24 hours by completely dominating AR and BP with overwhelming forces which breaks the morale and will of all but the die-hard WvWers. People log in and..well..its just not fun, so they go back to PvE.

Check it out for yourself and look at the score evolution of Ebay vs. AR vs. BP and you will see its fairly close, albeit with Ebay still usually carrying a slight lead, with the exception of the first 24 hours and a few other short bursts of dominance.

I can already see how its making BP better though and just tonight there was much better coordination and use of defense. Its a slow evolution, but we will get there.

Really solid pushes by both BP and AR just now on SM. You guys should see our Map/Team Chat lol. Nice fights!

Seriously tho, Before getting into this match up, I was looking forward to fight BP again and the new Ebay.

I thought Ebay had a lot of roamers, including GF, Sekz, PK and more.

But sadly it was all lie!!!

Sekz are a zerg. Each time I had the pleasure to fight them, it was like 20 vs 3. So I never got to fight them in small skirmish. I fought an Elementalist in BP low land once from Sekz, but I was running my confusion build so he died, as confusion is OP in WvW.

I thought Sekz had some roaming team? Where are they?

PK is another zerg. I have yet to fight them in a small group. Just yesterday, they actually stopped, stacked then charged 20 of there player just to kill me and a warrior. I doubt you needed to stack for that, or maybe we were just at the bad place at the wrong time.

And finally GF, the only guild that looks like a roaming team. But they are more of a Zerg buster team. They are too many for our small group, yet they aren’t a zerg ether. We had some fun fight with them, but I have to bring more people to be on equal footing. We actually helped WAR fight you guys yesterday and it was awesome.

This week is so zergy since the patch. Good thing st least we can see them without culling.
