Lol, if T7 people come and post in T8 threads then I will come here. Just wanted to share the good news with you guys….and SF will come in and show you how broken the system was before. I highly doubt HoD will get out of T7 before we come up there and bring total destruction with us…so best bet is for you guys is to get your affairs in order because once we do move kitten aint going to be pretty up there.

Speaking as someone who used to be on Ferg and played against SF. I would say nobody is going to be roflstomping anyone. SF/HOD/NSP will be a very good match. SF has similar numbers, and plenty of skilled guilds. Will be fun to be in a match with our KING friends again .

Honestly if GoM moves down from this crutch to the system I will spend every second I spend in wvw to beat SF into a bloody pulp.

What will happen if SF is bumped up because of an artificial ratings increase (whether deserved or not):

HoD and NSP will initially “welcome” SF due to SF’s forum warriors proclaiming their superiority over all of t7 already.

ET and FC will initially “welcome” GoM to prove that t8 can hold their own against a t7 server. (And probably see an increase in activity just due to the holycrapnotSF factor)

No more than 12 hours into each match, the regular doubleteaming begins to rotate, with many complaints to the forums about who is ganging up on who.

T7 egos are massive. I will enjoy their delicious tears over the weekend.

You do realize, of course, that NSP and HoD are going to destroy (and I mean mercilously eradicate) SF if they did manage to whine their way into T7 right? I mean the blood shed is going to be on a biblical proportion.

It’s been my pleasure and honor to compete against these two servers. And quite frankly…SF is just not up to it.

I’ll wager by EOD Saturday we’ll have the SF forum jockeys complaining about being double teamed, being out-manned, siting server population and crying various forms of foul about why the point spread is so off.

So, if it does actually happen: I encourage HoD and NSP to welcome SF to tier 7 with a hard and bloody lesson on the unintended consequences of actions. Let slip the dogs of war.

Well, we’ve been droppin in ranks since September. Didn’t hit tier 8. ArenaNet thought they would fix that by transferrin people for free to our competition. Didn’t hit tier 8. So they bump everyone below us up in rating. That’s what it takes I guess.

Edit: What really strikes me is how different the outcome would have been before the free transfer week. I do feel like I’ve been kicked in the balls twice. We didn’t get transfers so we’re forced down a tier to fight servers that got tier 1 transfers. Cool.

It’s literally impossible to hit t8 without being destroyed, so be glad you didn’t get destroyed I guess

It would definately be interesting to see the matchups if SF moves up and GoM moves down. See if SF gets owned or whether they can hold their own. See if GoM can dominate the leftover T8 servers.

Could make for some very intense and emotional battles!

I feel bad for those who don’t know the outcome of the new t8 matchup now.

I have a feeling that psychology will play a large role in how all 6 servers will deal with the swap… and that it’ll lead to both matches being 100% 2on1 the whole week.

FC and ET are going to focus on GoM to sink it’s rating as close as possible to theirs.

SF is going to play for second place to make sure they don’t drop back down and HoD will take advantage of it to try to climb into T6.

Why are you hating on SF as a whole? You do not think we deserve a chance at T7 at all? Put yourself in our shoes first, imagine what it would be like beating the other two servers in your matchup by double score most of the time and not moving up for almost 3 straight months!! We deserve this chance and you know it.

And as for SF being curbstomped by you guys, NOBODY knows how this is going to go. Reset when we do move up (and we will, this reset or next) is going to be a BLAST for everyone, dealing with new opponents, new tactics, new zerg styles.
