You guys are stacked but your players are more fickle and only come out when you are winning. SoR on the other hand in its history has lost more than its won. They only know how to fight, placement means nothing.
Right now we have about the same numbers we had when we where in tier 2, We lost 2 strong wvw guilds because they did not like tier 1 (Something i still agree with) and you have gotten new guilds to come join you.
SoR always had the numbers to take us down and now you are even bigger. Our guys are no more fickle then yours.

VERY few SoR guilds work small scale so we took you down by holding your zerg in one zone while the rest of us hit the others. Now that we are low on man power that will not be a option.
BG have gotten knocked out of Tier 1 several times so far and have always come back stronger. So no your SoR guys are not special in that regard.
What will be interesting to see if SoR will actually try and go for first or be content in second place. I predict that you will target BG over JQ because it is easier and through that you will not take first.
I hope i am wrong and SoR actually do fight JQ, but so far you seem to be content being number 2.

Players from all servers are pretty fickle to be fair. Same goes with JQ. JQ has in the past lost alot of active, skilled and knowledgeable players because of the way WvW is currently structured. Ive seen really good leaders quit the game because of the way you lose out for doing the things your server really needs. An example? Ive spent over 50 hours in the last 3 days escorting yaks. For that I got zero gold, a few fangs, no world XP, no XP etc etc. Not to mention a good 50gold spent on upgrades.
SM right now is 1k+ with waypoint and fortifications etc etc. It needs more supply and its being cut off because I really couldn’t stand escorting another yak. What I did was a huge benefit to JQ, but none to me personally. I see alot of other regulars contributing these types of things all the time and its that that really wins for the server. Winning in WvW isn’t all about numbers. Its also about having alot of people who are willing to put in time for no reward. Id say its one of the major aims for JQ and should be for other servers, to find ways to get the casuals involved in and regularly participating and contributing to their server.
Problem is, BG is in essence a bandwagon server, no one transferred there because of any other reason than to win. So when you don’t win, you will disappoint people.
I think SoR can probably reliably take second for the foreseeable future. I’m not betting on SoR beating JQ any time soon though.
What happened to MERC+ND? The first few weeks you guys went Tier1 (this time around) they were pretty much constantly in EB. Ive only done about 10 hours in BLs and maybe 50-60 hours in EB and I can’t recall seeing a single one of them this week.
Problem is, BG is in essence a bandwagon server, no one transferred there because of any other reason than to win. So when you don’t win, you will disappoint people.
So is JQ.

So is any server that got any kind of transfers because no one wants to take a good hard look at their own server.
Reality check. You got the same kind of players everyone else did, they just choose your server so you people all think honey and roses about them but crapola about others.
I speak for my self and no one else. Only fools believe they speak for a majority.
While I haven’t been privy to all the meetings, I’ve been in a couple of them and winning, ppt, or the score is never brought up in the transfer meetings beyond the leaders saying in essence"only come here if you are looking for a challenge, it’s not easy and it will always be an uphill battle"
And the way individuals behave against the enemy and the way they behave amongst themselves are two completely different things.

Why does JQ hate them so much?
I don’t even think it’s bad the decision they made, they got a free transfer and they wanted off SoS, it’s a no loss trial of a new server.
It seems that the only guilds that accept bribes are in the +7 to +12 region. I rarely hear of NA guilds taking bribes but they may be offering or funding them.
Who knows what JQ has done, don’t think anyone has mentioned them anywhere. Far as I’ve seen they’ve gotten majority of their transfers before free transfers were closed.
Wouldn’t it be interesting if instead of server v server v server , it was team v team v team.
Cut the maps from 4 to 2 and you create a roster of max players then go at it. The guilds/players are responsible for managing their roster and coverage on a much smaller scale.
It would create a lot of dynamics as rosters and teams would change a lot. Then rank the teams as you rank the servers. It would be a lot more interesting I think and give all teams instead of 3 servers an opportunity to play for the title of champion.
I think if it wasn’t for Bg’s great community and guild comradery , alot of us would have transferred off already . Most of our guilds like small, coordinated, multi group combat and T1 is just a skill lag inducing mega zerg mess. The very lack luster “wvw update” just made the problem even worse . With SOR getting more guilds it is going to compound it because that’s their whole meta. It just adds up to an over all lack of interest. One thing I know for sure. If Bg ever drops tier , we won’t sink like the rock of SOS and no one will be transferring back to this garbage.

Honestly I feel like Smokee leaving has been a way bigger deal than Agg or FoE leaving no disrespect to either guild but HB carried BG imo. Hardly see them anymore.

Blackgate has already stomped SoR. Since being in T1 they were 2nd for the first 2 weeks and took first the 3rd week. SoR was in their usual 3rd place spot.
Why 3rd place, because they are too afraid to do anything against JQ because they know that they would crumble trying to defend both JQ and BG. And the fact that SoR is afraid to challenge JQ works to JQs benefit. They can go after BG knowing SoR will join in and not take points from them.
How long has SoR been in T1 now and never once came close to taking top spot. It says a lot about a server that just rolls over and accepts 2nd or 3rd.
Many on BG enjoy fighting against JQs numbers and coverage, what is wearing on BG is the yappy poodle constantly nipping at our ankles when we fight the top dog.

Remember when we all really fought in t2? When neither servers really had transfers and it was fun? Good times. I honest to god think SoR is one of the best servers skill wise out there. I just miss good old fashion t2 fair fights and my entire gaming experience not being a cluster kitten zergball of nuts in BG garrison with 50+ jq and 50+ sor. I just can’t wait for GvG so WvW can die all together.

At the end of the day, BG and SoR forum warriors will continue to attack each other so long as they are in the same tier. The forum for these score updates is like entertainment weekly. Half of it is made up gossip/drama and half of it has fact. The only fact is the score btw.
Now, someone go feed the drama llama elsewhere and get us a score!

I don’t know about you but I use the right-hand rule, so my fingers are always pointing to the side. It’s handy because, at anytime, while pointing at someone, you can also visualize the torque on their head if you spun it off.
So in my case, fingers point at SoR and JQ… which seems fair. May as well point at them at the same time since their such a good team. (Too soon?)

I said weeks ago when BG got the SoS transfers that it would fall apart eventually.
The facts are this: JQ can take 1st place without trying. BG can take first place by burning themselves out. Lets not forget you guys took first place then took 3rd place the week after it. You cannot sustain 1st place. SoR could probably do the same thing as BG but that is not our playing style. We are not going to force people to log in for 16 hour shifts for 4 days in a row to make sure we get 1st place for a week.
SoR hits JQ just as hard as they do BG. And JQ hits SoR just as hard as they do BG. On SoR we boast we have the best NA… Maybe, maybe not. But I have to say we have the most resilient NA. We push people off of BLs every night… Yet I have never been pushed off of a map. (until people start logging off for the night) We have had a few bad nights as all servers have. So I shouldn’t say it never happens but it is very rare that we pull out of a map.
At the end of the week we don’t care if we are 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. You know why? Because every week we are getting stronger. And we have fun playing. As a game should be. If you treat a game as though it is a second job, I sure as hell hope you are a professional gamer and are actually getting paid for it. Because at the end of the day bragging rights are only relevant in the present. A few weeks, months, or years down the line things will change and no one will care that you won.

Yes, I would guess 3 to 1 would be a proper ratio of SoR forum trolls to Blackgate ones. Good estimate.
