Guild Wars 2

I love the WvW games, I play it a ton and hope to continue. However I am not sure how me or others can not just get burnt out from week long match after match aftermatch with out a chance to chill, or do other parts of the game if they wish.

If we made these games Fri – Monday and shut it down for 3 days I feel the longevity of the WvW games will last longer. It gives Servers a few days to get ready for a match and if people take a few days off they are more likely to play for the 3-4 days its live etc…

I just think as is this will burn out most if of the WvW community. Also 3-4 day matches would give a lot more competitive results IMO base don what I have seen that is about when games are decided

I also think Anet would get more participation day-day over a long weekend match as there is a shorter window to participate.

If you want competitive results, 1 to 2 day WvW match ups, because it snow balls after that for most match ups. G_G

I agree with lowering the time these are and giving servers / guilds a break, I think limit it to a few days then it be more competitive due to time off and knowing this is it for the week type thing.

3 days seems right, make it more competitive, I also agree with the burn out factor that’s going to happen to people trying to help / play so much

I don’t think I would spend over 5g on a keep upgrading it if it’s only gonna last a few days. 2 weeks matches should be coming soon so that people actually start spending money on upgrades.

Why spend money on upgrades when it will just get taken over with no defenders?

I dropped 1g on a tower other day and when it was taken, I was only one in there despite asking for help multiple times for 15 mins straight lol.

Really think that 3-4 day matches would suit Wv3 way better. If you will notice that after weekend, matches are mostly decided anyways. Rest week is a boring stompfest majority of the time.

I dread month long matches. You will have like couple days of fun, then a month of boredom. I really don’t look forward to that.
