Err, Wigz is on FA I thought. I was asking what TC/Kain’s strongest was since SEA seems FA’s strongest.
Kain’s strongest is SEA time. FA’s is NA/AUS. TC, no idea.
It’s NA, I think. We’ve been doing quite well holding the highest ppts so far during NA primetime.

O.o Haven’t seen you post in a while. And for me, they’re souless ginger tears, get it right! :P I’m not really qq’ing though. Kain could treb our gari all day, it would give me a target to go after with another equally sized group of course. I’m not a thief, so going towards a group alone is a bad idea. Group meaning probably 5 or more. Then again, I’m pretty bad, so I’d probably die to 3 people (not overly good at solo pvp, but I still prefer going around with a small group in WvW). Meh. Trying to get a hang of this Necro build my guildie and I came up with.
I don’t understand all the FA posters saying that KN is winning because of PvD. For over two hours this morning we (FA) held WM and Meow from capping our garrison. It was some of the best WvW/FA performances I have seen, and it really discredits us few SEA timeslot players when you basically state that we don’t exist. Yes we are outnumbered, but discrediting KN’s advances while we are outnumbered discredits our own accomplishments when we are the ones heavy in population.
Any points achieved during FA downtime are hard fought, and us valiant few are here to make sure of that. The problem with this morning is that our defense ultimately cost us ppt. KN stayed in FABL to take garrison for hours, whereas if they capped the whole thing they would have left and allowed us to recoup our loses, which is what happened in TCBL.

I don’t think anyone is discrediting. The fact the latest score update shows we own a 1/4 of the pie shows that we do have some coverage during NA worktime/Oceanic early morning. We understand SEA is currently in a difficult state, and I’m sure we are thankful for those that do play for SEA time to keep our PPT from getting abysmally low, even if we don’t show it.
I’ll say it for all of us – thank you SEA guilds/players for keeping FA on the board. I believe our PPT would be pretty bad if it weren’t for your presence during these times. We just need to bolster your presence a little. I hope you are all having fun fights out there, even if you are outnumbered.

Totally agree…you SEA guys rock. We do need more of ya thats for sure, but yer doin a good “marine” job….(as much as possible, with little or nothing to do it with). My hats off to ya.

Having actually stayed awake a few times and seen what it’s like during SEA time, you guys deserve a ton of credit. It’s easy to be a NA player and enjoy the good team fights and roughly even numbers. It can be incredibly difficult and frustrating to do what you guys do day in and day out, not to mention demoralizing. However, it can also be quite fun to re-enact the battle of Thermopylae on an hourly basis. So, kudos to you guys.
I think our point was just directed at the KN zergs that run around that time. PvDoor is boring as hell, I know that many of us just stopped WvWing during certain periods in our t3 time. Run around, smack a door. Kill a NPC, sit in circle. Run around, steam roll a smaller group in an uninteresting fight. Smack a door. Repeat.
It’s no accusatory – I know that it’s just unfortunate server composition during their gaming time; I’m just honestly confused as to how they find enjoyment in that, day after day.

Sounds like just about any other tier 1 server really. Tier 1 was a lot like that back in the day. SoS, JQ and whoever was in the 3rd slot had several moments like that.
I’d say Kain is rather divided about where they want to go. I don’t personally want to go to tier 1 at all but I guess I don’t blame others for wanting to if they are in a timezone where they’re not meeting much resistance.

This I think was the third attack on hills .. the first two all I saw were BT tags, but it was chaotic, so I may have miscounted. But yeah there appears to be a mix in this one …. would be nice to see all three attacks on fraps tho, because those fights were pretty fun.

Fair enough. I think in my mind I was insinuating there were [BT] in the mix but not their guild as a whole so I added “and friends.” Looking back on it, it was a poor choice of title, so I’ll change it. And really, its a compliment. Anytime [BT] is on a map in any capacity, they are worth keeping an eye on. We have been spending alot of time on FABL, so of course we are going to run into you alot because you have also been spending alot of time on FABL.

Well first of all, we don’t want to go to tier 1 , tier 2 is where all the fun is, without stress.
Second , yes, sadly we will advance to tier 1 and fail, but we will have fun failing and learning new stuff. Kian server is quite new to higher tiers of WvW (not counting WM) but we are learning fast.
And last of all, please stop crying , every week its the same . "Kain won by PvDoor-ing " We get lots of good number matched fights durring our oceanic zergs , sadly TC doesnt have any coverage, but i dont see them crying as much as FA is, versus who we have good fights every night =)
BT is a solid guild and when we know they are on the map we have to be on our toes, have our eyes on our flanks and move / react quicker than them…and most of the time we do.
However, I would go on a limb and say that although it would be impossible to arrange this because we are on the same team, the toughest test for Pink other than HB would be KH.

And the TC chest thumpers finally start showing up. I wondered how long it would take a few pages back. Glad you guys are proving me right. It’s funny, TC talks a big game but when it’s time for proof…I see mislabeled videos and references to theoretical match ups. Good times ahead I’m sure.

I would love to see videos of a small group (5-10) getting things done efficiently. Those probably do not exist though, since WvW is largely about ZvZ (zerg vs zerg).

How about the 10-15 mark, or is that too big a group?
I’ll be honest, defending is far far FAR easier than attacking. Yesterday our RET group tried to take Hills from TC 3-4 times and failed, we were wiped each time by a mix of TC Pugs. Today Tarnished Coast tried to take their Garrison back. We wiped them 3-4 times. Noticing a pattern here? Getting your head big from wiping others like that isn’t exactly healthy.
I notice a lot of people like to say “we were outnumbered 3 or 4 to 1”. It’s actually even rare to see you outnumbered 2 to 1. The only time where you know for certain that you are outnumbered that badly is if you see the outmanned buff and there are no swords on the rest of the map. (people RARELY ever win those). Most times people don’t realize how close the numbers are because the red line “Tarnished Coast Invader [PINK]” is about twice as long as the generic “OP Mesmer [DB]” and people will inflate numbers to make for good stories. I believe most of the good battles I fought where people later remarked “we were outnumbered” on the forums were rather pitched and numbers were not any more than 1.5x the other.
