WOOOTT . I feel like a hero.

After 900 ranks or so, I’ve had 1 ring (Vassar’s band) and 1 ascended weapon (dropped from keep lord) and 1 armour chest (rank up). Except the weapon and armour are both for carrion stat aka the most useless stat combo in this game, so I’ll never be opening them. It would be nice if we could PICK something we actually can use/want.

Maybe one day they’ll help WvW out, one day.

Over 1k ranks and no ascended or precursor. I am averaging around one exotic per 200 WvW chest opens as well. The loot system in this game is abysmal and one of the worst I have experienced in any MMO.

My nearly 160 unmodified Magic Find is not working on item drops either.

I have around 1500 ranks about now. Ive had about 6 rings. All trash though because farmed fractals for my rings. Even with 8 classes, rings aren’t hard to come by as long as you enjoy fractals. The best thing I got from a rank up chest was ascended Angchu armor (Toughness, Power, critical damage) which was very useful. Best drops I have had is chaos gun (Quip precursor, dropped from a player) and an ascended armor chest (dropped from a tower keep lord) that wasn’t the stats I want for anything. I had an ascended weapon drop as well but my account was hacked the next day and they had to reset my account which lost me around 50 WvW levels, the ascended weapon and 2x 10 Agony resist. I also had purchased collectables expansion to 1000 slots and after the reset I couldn’t repurchase them so now Im locked permanantly at 250 per stack and TP won’t let me buy more because I have already theoretically purchased the maximum.

On a side note, I thought you were one of those hardcore players, Fuzzionx, with thousands of WvW levels? Or is that just one of your classes?

So its confirmed, ascended Armour drops as well?

Yes ascended armor does drop from rank up chests. Several of my guild mates have gotten one while I was running with them.

Yeah you can get armor from rank up chests, I assume drops as well. Yeah I have 5k hours played which is an average of over 10 hours a day as I didn’t start till 2 months after the game released. Have a full time job. My doctor says I am an insomniac, he aint kidding :p

I didn’t recieve a single ascended ring until last week. Two days later I got another one. So two in 2 weeks. Another member has gotten 4 in the past 3 weeks. Before that? nothing.

Rank 900+ on combined characters and those were the first two for me. Look at you anet! Must’ve bumped up the rate and showing us WvW’ers some love.

After 565 ranks, I have received 1 ring…………….

I assumed the rank up chests still only give you level appropriate rewards, been saving the rank up chests on my guardian until I get to 80.

Funny part is that fractal heros whine that fractal drop rate is bad.

228 ranks (scouting is so rewarding lol) – No precursor, no ascended

Best drop; Very valuable dagger/focus (cant remember which, was worth around 210G at the time i got it) from Map Completion in Orr.

People are not liying about your terrible implementation ANET. I got my 1st ring around rank 200. I would have gotten maybe 200 rings by now just from fractal daily chests.

That doesn’t seem balanced at all in fact its not.

almost 1400 ranks, 1 ring which i got the other day. Dont remember getting any other ascended gear.

250+ rank, should be higher but I do the support work “upgrading, walking yaks, defending” that really doesn’t get you wxp. Anyways, one ascended ring drop, 15 or so exotics, best selling items I have ever gotten was some light and armor (I am a heavy) that have Traveler runes on it.

400+ rank and nothing.

+450 rank across all toons. So far I got one ring, but that was awhile back. Just the other day I got an armor drop which is nice. However my main is already fully ascended, and my alts really don’t have a use for the Cleric stats. So it doesn’t really do me any good.

Just in case you were in doubt that loot is essentially random to a ridiculous degree, I’d like to add that at rank 20-ish I have received 2 ascended drops from WvW chests so far.

400 some ranks, just got one ascended armor drop — stats I don’t use, of course.

Over 900 ranks and 83k kills spread around my characters (rank 760+ on my main), no ascended, no precursor. Best drop was from a player, not a rank chest: exotic with traveler runes that I salvaged and used for my roaming gear.

I have about 400 total ranks and I got one ring with knights stats, but I’ve never used it so far.

Over 500 ranks if I sum up all the ranks of my chars, and I’ve got 2 ascended Weapon Chests (both Rabid) and 2 Ascended Rings (one Zerk-Valk, the other was Apoth-Rabid).

Still no trace of a precursor though

Ascended Rings take up so much bank space already getting them doesn’t even feel like a reward.

And in the off-chance you may even get an Ascended Weapon drop it probably won’t be your stat-combo.
