On DH borderlands, we usually have about 10 people mulling about citadel doing nothing. So numbers had to have been a lot closer to even than anyone has suggested.

As for being farmed, yeah, that’s what happens when one side is full of regulars on voice chat while the other side is full of pugs without a commander.

I forget the guild tag but I fought a really good Necro from DR in DR BL last night. In the back of the SW supply camp. You were staff and dagger/horn. Really surprised how much you were moving around. Those chills were deadly. Our duel was cut short when some other people arrived and you all got me. Best necro I ever fought so far.

As I said in the description on youtube. I typically trashcan stuff like this. There is nothing special to this fight. It is only posted to refute the 35 DR versus 15 DH BS. He specifically mentioned our group. We reserve the right to call out bullkitten targetted at us when we see it.

Also, one of the people killed there was a commander. Not that it means anything.

Ahh, that makes a lot more sense! Thanks for clarifying. I thought it was odd considering I dont remember seeing many tags from that alliance (if any).

And yeah.. I cant tell the difference either. I figure if it starts hurting me, or me it, then we are on to something. That has lead to some interesting interactions with foliage though… If you see some Asura yelling at a bush, thats me!

There was some confusion over this, but I believe it has been solved now.

The guy in the screenshot was in our guild, and he just transferred servers. He never mentioned that he was doing it, so we never knew to kick him out of our guild. So there are no hacks going on here – just a guy that transferred from IoJ to DR.

Be assured that he never spied for us. If you notice, we are the guild that is constantly complaining about a potential spy – we wouldn’t have one ourselves.

Most of the confusion was due to a bug where someone can get into an enemy citadel. I’ve documented it and reported it here.

Fight Club, Fight Club, Fight Club! That’s right guys, it’s the time of the week, occurring hopefully every Thursday afternoon!

Location – Devona’s Rest Borderlands under Champion’s Demense Camp
Time – Thursday after DAILY reset (8 PM EST) (Please PM if you need a conversion to your immediate time)

Standard Tips/Rules:
- /bow before duel
- Duel ends when the opponent is downed
- Anyone who interrupts, please inform that a Fight Club is taken place; if they do not understand and continue interrupting, down them and again, inform them again. Finishing an interrupting player is not tolerated, but if need be over several warnings, must be done.
- Abusing mobs/environment will not be permitted (example – C&Ding off animals/spectators)
- NEW If you would like to have team duels (2v2, 3v3, and so forth), you need to contact the individuals you want to have duels with (Guilds/Server players) and arrange a location to have one. The team duel ends when the last person is downed (previous team members need to be finished, and stay finished until after the last person is downed).
If you have any other questions about further rules or clarifications, contact me ASAP before Fight Club

All players are encouraged to come to this weekly event. I have been able to contact certain guilds to come to have an expected Fight Club at the asked time. To avoid hatred against opposing servers, detrimental comments are not tolerated and will not be respected, please keep in mind, attenders of this event are only trying to have a specific type of fun and improvement towards friendship with other servers and WvWing.

Fight Club is about practice against other classes! Do not be discouraged if you lose a fight, be persistent, but also be mindful that other players want to have fun too! Keep dueling =)

To the guy who mentioned that we didn’t have the outmanned buff, you will notice it pop up on us during this clip. That was almost certainly a bug which I will promptly submit a bug report on.

Just a word of advice. We have at least 5 people who fraps from time to time. It’s probably best to stick to the truth in such matters. And BTW, this is all trashcan footage. The person who said it’s expected for us to “farm” DH in this situation is absolutely correct (not because they are all bad, but because we are organized with communication and they did not have overwhelming numbers since they were quite spread out). There was nothing special about this fight. I’m just glad I still had the footage so I could dispute the bullkitten that was being thrown at us.

Guilds that I’ve seen more than once running a smaller team include DE, Riot and PD from DH and HARD and UnS from IoJ. We rarely see UnS or Riot though. We see a lot of HARD and SE. There are others, of course, but I’ve only run across them once so they most likely don’t run around with a small team regularly.

HARD and SE remind me a little bit of FTF from Ebay in that they often field huge numbers but also have people who run smaller crews.

UnS is probably one of the smaller guilds in IoJ, on avg. only 5-8 ppl at a given time in WvW. on a rare occasion we pull off 10-15 of us together. We much enjoy our encounters with you guy’s… we wish we had a little more of us (15 or so) on more so we could run together and meet up with ya guy’s.. but we make do with what we got on & give it hell!! It don’t always work in our favor but we have given larger groups there run for there money, if anything most limp away with a narrow victory.
Always fun times when we see your crew, hopefully we(UnS) can grow a little so we can meet up more on the field, till then… we’ll lick our wounds & scratch back

I think the biggest issue people are having when reporting numbers is the combination of the removal of culling, and addition of titles. I have noticed consistently incorrect reporting of numbers. I always find it a bit funny when someone says in /t or /m "30+ (insert random server name) at (insert random objective) only to find out there are 10 enemies at best.

Its really interesting to see how subjectivity and individual experience in a specific circumstance affects ability to report numbers though. Well, interesting to me anyway.

Either way, I see a pretty even fight there as it concerns numbers. At least in the first video.. I couldnt make it 30 seconds into the second one!

To say that there were 35 of us and that we had to fallback from 12-15 really stretches credulity, don’t you think? Oh, yeah… and he got a few of us too! Quite an impressive feat for someone to charge into 35 and get some stomps with only a few guildmates and PUGs supporting him!

Of course, we had to fallback repeatedly and were only able to kill a few “idiots” (was he referring to his guildmates there? I mean, if he wants to call his guildmates idiots I guess that’s fine but it just seems wrong to me) that followed us.

That was me, I can never make the fight clubs because of the time but that duel had me worn out anyway, probably one of my longest fights, aside from some kitten guardians. Good fight though, I’m sure we’ll meet again haha..

You should have seen the ones under the bridge who got the proper zergball. But too bad there weren’t more of you, the DR/IOJ sandwiching makes us feel loved in all the right ways <3

Also, that IOJ party in the SW camp was funtimes. Invite us back pretty please? Night before server reset can always be hit or miss. Loved the turnout and the fights, IOJ and DR.

Last night in IOJ we held one of the keeps for 15-20 mins with side wall down, 15 of us against 50~, it was massive amounts of fun, well played on both sides and when you took the castle, it was earned

Also had a few skrimishes with OINK, had a good little fight against a mesmer but then a thief had to come and i was the meat in the sandwhich so to speak.

I did watch the video. My confusion came in when I incorrectly thought they were talking about DRBL, but I was wrong.

Either way, I still see roughly even numbers and DH lost that engagement. I see ~14 DH and ~12 DR around the 1:00 mark. There could be some miscounting, I really dont care that much about it. By the 2:00 mark, DH was losing folks fast.

It may explain a lot though, if that is what you guys keep calling “massively outnumbered.” It looked like a decent fight, regardless, and DR won. No idea how it went afterwards, I wasnt there.

No, it was claimed that later during that night, there was a small number of DR surrounded by DH. If you watch the videos Oozo stated at the end that DH’s numbers kept increasing where DR’s stayed the same.
