I been hearing that some of you think SF is the only one with bigger amounts of players, But I will post some videos of what we go up against, in some cases it may seem to you when you are playing that the zerg is huge but that might be not peak times for oyu, but saying that your server do not have this “big zerg”. Well here is a vid from yesterday. Please lets just be positive and focus on what you can do for your server rather than sit here and start forum wars over nothing.

You make a video of a guild zerg going against the entire NSP wvw pop and claim servers have even numbers? Honestly? You are delusional. The vast majority of the time SF has zergs that equal the entire wvw population of all of NSP on each map sometimes multiple zergs that large on 1 map.

Losing to a zerg is cool but the spam jumping on corpses and emoting after running from 2v1 and 3v1 fights to a zerg which is happening nonstop is a joke. I am done with WvW for now let SF pvdoor even more if that makes them feel superior.

In all honesty he never claimed any skill but rather claimed that HoD and NSP were evenly matched with SF. So I was out of line for my comment. But back to the point SF players keep posting pics and videos to show the even fights and its obvious they have many many more players at each fight.

Side note there was a really annoying sword/pistol thief believe guild name was ND not sure on that but I would like a duel away from the zerg was fun fighting you.

Not sure if you guys watched the same video, but their whole group stood inside your keep while your whole server just charged in and died. I really love how you guys rotated feedbacks and guardian walls and how you all stacked under Sanctuary when it was used. Great team communication.

You are indeed right though, most of the video PVP has a bigger group than what’s being thrown at them, but they stood 10 minute inside that keep and barely lost anyone while you guys just died like flies, if this is not skill play i really dont know what is.

As for SF’s golem march through EB it was 29 alphas and 1 omega. Needed the omega to command them all, it just doesn’t make any sense otherwise.

The problem is we are here for different levels of fun. SF seems to only know how to have fun with 40 + people around each other.

There are ALSO a good number of people who only need 1-10 around them to have their fun, and SF doesn’t have any of those. That’s why the thread got closed because other than those Osif pointed out, the forum posters would like to enjoy more skill-full combat in open world pvp. And you all simply do not provide anything close. This isn’t trolling, it’s stating facts man.

20 man? This crying again? No on cares how many people you have on each of their side. We literally pushed your zerg out that was twice the amount of what we had, out of SM. If that’s your idea of fun, then be my guest. But honestly quit bringing more excuses about numbers and wanting to run around with 20 tarts. You guys are getting outplayed at every level and instead of finding another strategic move to counter it, all you guys do is run to the forums and cry again. Like others have said before me, whether theyre from SF or not, if you want random small groups running around go find one on LFG (lols) or something. Or better yet PvP. That’s nice that you guys have escort guilds running around doing this, but if you guys are really a WvW lover like a majority of us are, then running to the forums and finding excuses should be the last thing on your mind. Buddy, we run 5 guys every night….I think even running with 20 takes no skill. Any player can spam #1 and win 80-90% of their fights…..that shouldn’t be allowed. And you run twice that!

Skill this Skill that…hands down real good players just don’t run in zergs. That is a fact. From the beginning of pvp the majority of good players find ways to win outside of having 20+ around them. So go on and on about “outplaying” everyone…you out number everyone, use the correct terminology.

I have yet to see either side run 5 man.. and i’ve been playing the game for several hours each day all weekend long. You act like you’ve got some god like ability with your 5 man team. It’s a fact, 5 ppl cannot take a tower or keep if there’s another 5 people guarding it (unless those guys are entirely new to the game). You need a lot more – and you’ve always had a lot more.

Save the “our 5 man grou kitten o amazing, but we’re unfortunately outnumbered” nonsense to yourselves. It seems every one who loses on each tier has the same sob story. Really… if ppl want to play on WvW we can’t just kick them out and say “sorry but if you come in, then there’s a chance the numbers will grow too much and we’ll end up zerging”

Plz, zergs are usually because ppl are not running with their guilds.. which means the “zerg” you get your kitten handed to are a bunch of pugs who are guessing at their own coordination. God forbid you run in to a 10-15 man guild. Then you’ll cry about something else, like maybe we’re exploiting or hacking. You guys are welcome to challenge us one on one.. but even then I’ve seen so many of your guys run back in to spawn and try to attack me from there… while I’m solo because they can’t win without invul on and legendary guards backing them up. You guys don’t have the backbone to finish a fight and you’re talking about skill.

If you think winning with a guild group against random pugs with inferior numbers is skill then you stating correctly. You don’t know what skilled play is. Organization is great and important but it is not skill. You can teach a half wit how to click F on a portal and spam ae there is no reaction no countering anything you do same thing over and over again, it works so its a great strat but again not a way to judge skill.

Whats funny is within a day every server knew who the good guilds were on other server. If you avoid the guilds you know to be good or run from any 1v1 ever you are not included in that list of guilds.

All I’m reading is kitten talk with no substance from all sides.

You know I did not post anything hateful however all I got was hateful responses, no one in PVP has said anything to anyone, if you feel you want to do a 20 v 20 please let me know who wants to do and we will let you know when you our people are avail.

So yea next weekend maybe or when ever. I just do not want this discussion to go any further than it has about how you are far superior than anyone else, where as I or anyone else have never accused of you or any of the other server being below us. So lets set up a time for this 20 v 20 group and lets just settle it.

Real fight? Obviously I’m a bit uneducated here. Care to explain a real fight? Zerg vs Zerg or 5 vs 20? Can’t say I recall many fights that didn’t require more than 20 to compete against the SF Zerg . So I’m a bit confused about a real fight. If you are implying you aren’t getting a real fight from both of us I must say you should open your eyes. At least from my pov I still see blue. In fact we took you keeps in your BL twice today. Hard to say that is not real fighting. You guys just did the same to us tonight. Very impressive show of force btw, but it’s turning blue again just as yours is Red again. Can’t say I see your point unless you are a zergling that rolls through w/e door your face rolling at the time. We definitely can put up a show of force.

No QQ here. I am extremely impressed with the numbers you guys can have in every map. No way we can do that. I have come across some skilled players, but to be honest they are from HoD. No disrespect to SF but I can’t really determine the skill of the players in your server because I have yet to run across anything less than 10 of you at a time. To be fair that is what will make you a tier 5 server. Not sure how DH plays haven’t faced them in a long time but you guys would match up well with BP for sure.

What I don’t understand is the trolling of our server in particular. Most of the post talk about your numbers. You field a ton of people and I for one have a huge amount of pride in how our server has handled things. We will say we wiped your Zerg and you will say the same, but I have read only a few posts that talk about the great fights that have been happening. I have been apart of quite a few, got a lot of badges and died quite a bit too. Having a blast! You guys will win, but no way can you say you weren’t given a hard fight. If you do you just haven’t been playing. I’m sure HoD feels the same…

I am currently a member of the [PvP] guild from SF.
Contrary to what many believe, we had given up the “zerg” mentality right before we moved up a tier. I can tell you that after a number of tier 1 guilds transferred over to the opposing servers and face rolling us countless times, we had to step back and rethink on how we were doing things. We do not simply win by running head first into our opposing team and “swing” “swing” away, AoE anything and everything in sight. We learned from our mistakes going up against these tier 1 guilds and got stronger as a guild. We redid our builds, we held tactical practices, we even got stronger as a server. It’s not just a bunch of portal bombs as many of you think. We had major drama against other guilds on SF but when we moved up a tier, we put it all behind us and began working together. We do not bash other players on forums, we take all name calling and bashings with a grain of salt. We learn from our mistakes and continue to grow as a guild, as a server. We look foward to seeing you all in the battle field, friend or foe alike and hope you have as much fun in WvW as we do.

this again. increases my respect of your guild. and LK is going through the same thing.

i love GoM i really do. i have some good friends on that server that, unfortunately, i will probably never play against in WvW again. but a positive from having SF move up a tier is…HoD gets a wake up call.

to be honest we were very spoiled in the old t7. we were in a little dream world that we would roflstomp you with just throwing money at the problem by building 30 golems, and not perparing and learning new tactics for a new enemy. we enjoyed having the advantage in numbers a little “too” much. and now its biting us in the kitten

let the forum warriors rage about numbers and being " better". The truth is (and i can only speak for HoD) is that we have ALOT of work to do. and so much to Learn from SF. from effectivly defending portal bombs. to defending keeps. LK has trippled its effectiveness since you guys have shown up, just because you make us work for our keeps! i can tell the difference when we are there and we are not. that is not kittenyness. its just fact. and it would not have been so if great guilds like PvP and KING had not slapped me awake on reset day :p

so thank you to those two guilds in particular. im sure there are other great guilds out there in SF that i have not had the pleasure of facing yet, a couple others that come to mind are Seed (with your annoying engi commander) and LH. i hope to give you guys a run for your money in time :P. so enjoy the comfy lead while you have it! cuz ill be in your bl one day

I’d like a seat in the match-up, I’m always down for a GvG.
If we do this though, let’s do it right. Winning team doesn’t come in the forums chest thumping, and the losing team doesn’t come in accusing the other team of anything silly. Just a fun 20v20 match-up for both sides to enjoy. The only reason I say that is because regardless of who wins of loses, a rematch will most likely be wanted, and if there is a bunch of forum drama, I doubt we will be able to organize another GvG with the same group (to be clear, I’m saying this to [PvP] AND the opposing team).

Fun fights this weekend guys. I’m curious to see what the weekdays will look like.

mashing 1 is the reason my bags are always full every time we fight you guys. I do it so I can tag your zerg while my guild wipes you. And yes I click my skills, I’m a clicker which should not be a basis on judging my skills. I keep my guild alive as you can see, judge my gameplay, not how I “Click my skills” Thank you for the badges though, ill keep mashing 1 and click my skills, for my guild and myself it seems to be doing it’s job. But if it’ll make you feel better I’ll bind my skills and repost a video of my guild wiping you again.

My skill cliking kitten will be at the GvG. I should be an easy target right guys? See you this weekend

Also, any of those other troll baits/rants seen throughout this thread and the previous. If they don’t have a guild in their signature, then they either

1. Don’t have a reputable guild
2. Can’t represent said reputable guild because talking kitten would hurt the guild’s reputation or…
3. Are just a random who plays for the good fight and likes boasting of his/her accomplishments.

Hey! Great fights in EB tonight. My favorite was SF going after HoD’s keep. We managed to push ya out the first time, but then you came back and got the keep with the second wave lol. Truly was the most fun I’ve had in a while. Really proud of everyone that helped defend!
Side note: Keep things clean please! I like seeing props given to good fights and whatnot instead of trash talking :c

Calm down I was just joking around on ya.. If you get to know me you will know I am rarely serious and always talking crap.

Yes I’m frustrated (not because of losing) but because the way I find fun playing in WvW is unavailable in this match. That is 1v1, 1v2, 1v3, 1v4 etc w/e I can handle vs whoever I’m fighting.. Also our 5 man vs 5-10, maybe more but that usually only happens against pugs..

What I don’t find fun is getting ran over by 50 ppl and having them claim it’s skill and jumping up and down / emoting on my corpse. (Not saying the PvP guild has done this). Nothing against you guys, but you really just don’t belong here, you belong on t5 or maybe higher. NSP/HOD just don’t have anything to counter a guild running 40 ppl on voice in a tight pack portal bombing non stop. Not that I’m blaming you for anything, or having anything against it – it’s just not fun for us.

Add to that, guilds like COSA who every player I’ve fought from them is full on trash, riding the coat tails and talking all kinds of crap like they are the ones leading the show.

What really frustrates me is whenever I do finally find a solo person (SF) – they just run away without trying to fight me. Then I find a 1v3 and am having a good time and either they all run to a nearby zerg – or one shows up and runs me over(or I have to run flee if I can).

By the way, I would really love to be able to do a 20v20 with you, but you see our guild has exactly 20 members actually and rarely 10 or more online at once. If you wanted to do some 5v5’s now that’s something I’m sure XOXO (and other guilds on hod/nsp) would love to set up. You see, there are very few guilds on NSP or HOD that even have the members online at once to do a 20v20 with you.

So if you see that fat Norn XOXO Mesmer out there and he tries to 1v3 you , please don’t kitten out to the nearest zerg, and if you happen to zerg me down, have some respect and lay off the emoting and kitten.

I can’t honestly say that it’s been a good fight this weekend. I won’t disrespect myself or SF by insults, but I won’t give false praise either.

The multiple forty-man zerging is to the point that it’s truly a headache to play WvW for the time being and, as such, I’m losing interest. Before it dies altogether, I’m backing out of WvW for a few weeks – either until we get pushed to T8 or SF gets out of T7.

NSP and HoD are T7, almost T8, for a reason – they’re not heavy WvWers. Like an above poster stated, SF shouldn’t have been T8; nor should they be T7.

Good luck getting out of T7, and please hurry.

3. Are just a random who plays for the good fight and likes boasting of his/her accomplishments.

I been hearing that some of you think SF is the only one with bigger amounts of players, But I will post some videos of what we go up against, in some cases it may seem to you when you are playing that the zerg is huge but that might be not peak times for oyu, but saying that your server do not have this “big zerg”. I have to say I have been enjoying this week so far. Although the rest of the people from my server will QQ about the zergs, it’s been kinda a nice challenge to have fights where the odds are overwhelmingly against you.

The SF commanders do actually appear to be quite skilled- I’ve seen a few new tactics and siege placements, and camps are always defended. They will send small groups against your yaks, which forces you to walk them in. However, individual SF players are absolutely terrible. I won’t go into more detail, but your performance in small groups (<15) could be better.

I really enjoyed the SF siege of NSP valley tonight. You guys were literally pouring in through every possible entrance and yet we managed to hold out for 3 hours (although you guys were still sieging it at the time I left, so maybe you could have taken it by now). Good fights in Danelon for all who were there.

I haven’t really seen HoD in EB since reset. We miss you.

Meh we outnumbered them for most of the week just recently and the last couple of weeks seemed like many of them just stopped showing up. There were several days where I would end up fighting NSP most of the time. When we did outnumber them we never came close to outnumbering them as much as SF outnumbers. However, much of the SF outnumbering us has to do with the coverage SF has. It is quite clear that SF has much better coverage later at night than we on HoD do. That’s the time where I really notice the huge difference in population at that time. I would say during NA primetime we are the closest in numbers. SF still out numbering us by a significant amount but nothing to extreme. Then later there’s a huge population difference. I can’t speak for during the day though as I don’t play much during that time.

Like I said nothing against SF players. Your WvW population is simply much larger than ours. If this is what your population usually is. I’ll see how the rest of the week plays out.

funny thing, NSP and HoD are already complaining after half a week, when ET and FC sat through these zergballs for 3 whole months.
Show some backbone, guys, you are friggin T7 and get stomped by a little server which belongs in t8, cause it gets crushed in higher tiers, right?, right?

2v3 isn’t exactly “beating the odds.” And winning a one-off battle doesn’t really say anything about the players involved. Consistently killing someone over and over and over again does however. There are no doubt several good players on SF. I’m simply saying that the vast majority don’t hold up too well individually (especially the ones with the fancy PVE titles).

And out of curiosity, what did the people you killed look like (race/class)? I’m mostly just curious who it was that you beat. Gonna give them a hard time when they get on tomorrow ^^

Man, I all I read in here is how ‘horrible and unskilled’ we are. I hope that’s not a popular sentiment on your servers, it wouldn’t be very conducive to your WvW communities lose to such a ‘bad’ server.

But if that’s the case, toughen up, all we want is a challenge. Think we’re crappy, give us a reason to improve; save your vitriol for the battlefield.

I can’t honestly say that it’s been a good fight this weekend. I won’t disrespect myself or SF by insults, but I won’t give false praise either.

The multiple forty-man zerging is to the point that it’s truly a headache to play WvW for the time being and, as such, I’m losing interest. Before it dies altogether, I’m backing out of WvW for a few weeks – either until we get pushed to T8 or SF gets out of T7.

NSP and HoD are T7, almost T8, for a reason – they’re not heavy WvWers. Like an above poster stated, SF shouldn’t have been T8; nor should they be T7.

Good luck getting out of T7, and please hurry.

I’m staying out of WvW this week for the same reason. I don’t see anything less than huge zergs just rolling over everything, with SF outnumbering both other servers together. Good luck in the higher tiers, and hope you go there soon.
