i played WvW today and came across some guys who had all the buffs on them for 4 minutes. or atleast 3-4 buffs like fury and protection and regeneration.

I mean wth is this suppose to be right??

If they were Revenants, the legendary Glint will do that.

not only revs, elementalist necros rangers and some mesmers. i saw many classes with that buff and the timer did not go down. it had like 4 mins and 29 sec and never got down

Completely possible with Heralds. A herald in Glint stance can activate several skills that pulse boons constantly. He can also activate a skill that extends the duration of boons. Then he adds runes and gear that increase boon durations. Everyone in his party is getting the benefit of all the boons he is pulsing out at increased duration. If a second Herald is in the party, it gets even easier to stack even larger durations. However, to get up to 4+ min duration, they probably had stood in 1 place for 10+ min just to stack that much duration.

I’m not positive but I do remember that the Glint buffs are around a minute each and they Pulse and Stack with multiple Revenants.

It’s just revenant things. Pretty dumb but probably not going anywhere.

The funny thing is that a long time ago, when a single skill made it possible to stack a ton of a single boon – just some lousy swiftness btw – Anet hit it so hard with the nerf hammer that curtain became useless to achieve even modest swiftness on the Mesmer himself and we still use Guardian symbols to stack speed instead (what a ridiculous concept!).

Oh how the standards Anet set down has changed.
