I will say, you guys keep me on my toes. I think my favorite time was the previous week when there were a couple people randomly firing cannons and mortars just trying to mess up my approaches. Definitely made it more entertaining.

Seriously though – good things, bad things; over-numbered, under-numbered; elites, noobs; PvP’ers, RP’ers; quaggans, griffons; cheese cakes, pies – all of these things aside, good luck in T1 @ BG. I ran into the plush griffon zerg Quaggan tonic style peg legs blazing and it was quite lulzy, but the aggressive non tonic BG pugs ruined it pretty fast -.-

We had fun running that BTW – Doomdesire – we totally flipped out on the BG pug who attacked you, many :’( and NOs were spammed all at once. We thought it was the best thing ever when we bumped into you.

I do laugh when people call [Choo] a “zerg guild” considering the fact how organized we are as a guild. Considering we do take on groups double our size and larger sometimes with ease. We’ve learned a lot from playing against BG for so many weeks and we’ve become a lot stronger as you have seen. It’s really cool to see how powerful our guild is now than before, and how much of a presence we have on the battlefield.

Its been interesting to see from the BG side, the evolution of Choo and some other guilds on both servers since our first encounters as they began raising their game to being a serious threat to life and limb.
Took a few savage beatings, lot of bag donations to do it, but they’re definitely on the right track!

Walking out of tier 2 has also seen us apply higher levels of discipline to our wvw actions and a heck of a lot of experimentation to get our game up as well, its not to the ‘pro’ level I used to run in my DAOC 8man vs Zerg groups, but its getting there. Provided we keep yelling at the more attention bereft members and training, it’ll also eventually sink in. But we’ve got a few combat ‘metas’ down this afternoon to unleash on T1.

Dunno how long we’ll be there or how well we’ll do, but a lot of the guilds on this server have undergone a lot of changes since we where last there.

[Choo] has surprised a lot of people in [FEAR], I wont lie when we first saw the stacking strategy we laughed and put it down to the numbers they had however in the past week the real organization of [Choo] has come to the surface, their builds, and the way they have certain numbers of classes within the stack and how they train their members to know when to use skills has proven how well they can do the stacking technique and win most fights.

Big applause to the leadership in [Choo], keep up the great work and [FEAR] looks forward to working with you in the future.

Those who are starting to adopt the same technique I would say before doing so make sure you are set up and have trained your members, I have seen a number of guilds from BG and TC using the same stratergy now and I hate to say it but most need work.

Looking forwards to the reset, good luck in T1 BG I hope you guys are able to give SoS a run for their money.

I’d like to join in the congratulations to BG and wish you all well in T1. The good feelings are well deserved. Thank you for some really great fights! I can only speak for myself, but I feel as though I’ve learned a ton from our match up.

I’ve been told that tier 1 has more small man groups running around than t2 does. I hope that’s true.

If t1 is as zergy as t2 has been then one is just as good as another for my purposes. Will be nice having new people to fight though.

I gotta hand it to Choo for killing BG pugs with their portal bomb tactics. Sooner or later, the pugs will learn how to properly counter a completely stationary ball of players.

It works extremely well right now. I recommend to keep on doing it that way our pug’s can learn to counter it now than later in tier 1.

Do you pull your punches on our “Pugs”? Is that some unwritten rule that your never supposed to portal bomb a pug group or something?

In other news: we didn’t get to use our griffon zerg to full effect because we didn’t have as strong of a hold on the maps as I was hoping at our scheduled time. Not that we minded getting our hands dirty on BG BL. :> But alas! We’ll just have to try it again elsewhere…perhaps tonight before resets, or just in PvE zones. le sigh!

Hehe. Sorry Obsidian, but it is a bit funny. Whenever I see accusations of intentional and collaborated 2v1s, it always gives me a clue how much experience the accuser has in WvW. Not more than a month ago, you thought there were map completion points in the jumping puzzles. So … I’m pretty sure you just haven’t participated in WvW enough to understand the difference between how things can appear, based on observed actions of your opponents, and what’s really going on.

Odd post. First of all, it’s not something that happened all the time, or by every guild obviously. But it happened enough this week. And I wouldn’t have said anything about it if it was based merely on observation.

2ndly, what did my mistake with the jp thing have to do with this? At the time I had just begun W3 after taking my time with map completion. Since then I’ve only left the Borderlands at all for 2 AC runs and 1 Fractal. I average probably 7 hours/day in there, I think I know how it works.

Farewell Blackgate, I’ll miss getting run over by 20 of you as I solo roam. Good luck in T1.

Was a good series of rounds for us, TC, with BG and SoR…BG is clearly vastly superior to us in some respects, but I think the fights were quite good just the same. Best of luck to Blackgate in their coming T1 battles!

SoR and BG have been fighting eachother for many weeks in this tier, with TC being a recent addition to this rivalry. Last night I was moving to the middle arch between the two towers in the southern end of SoR Borderlands when I ran smack into a group of 10 BG and 10 SoR smashing into eachother…

Needless to say, I died – but I recorded most of the battle that ensued. Not much to look at, but if you are BG or SoR and have been fighting eachother for weeks, or especially if you were at this fight last night (SoR BL, 01/10/13 9:53 PM, middle arch) – then here you go ; enjoy!

I’m going to miss you BG. Getting to T2 to fight both you and SOR again was what made me play the game again. BG said it before and will say it again. I’m rooting for you in T1.

As for the choko guy never understood him.. Not sure what led to the anger..

BG, we hardly knew ye. at least, not to the extent that SoR did. however, you taught me and countless others on TC many many important lessons. the severe beating you’ve given us have helped us grow a great deal as a server. and i thank you all for that. best of luck in tier 1.

SoR, you’ve also taught us a great deal, but our fight gets to keep on going for a while. see you on the battlefield.

For BG, congratulations on your promotion to tier 1. After many weeks of fighting with you, I have to say I will miss you all! May we meet again soon and participate in glorious battles.

This has been an awesome week. As frustrated, and infuriated as SoR and BG can make me, it’s been ’ella fun.

It was also this week I finally started to get used to red being our color, and stopped assuming I could run through green doors. (did that ever stink the first few days after moving to this tier).

Thanks to all the players of SoR and BG, (even he stupid thieves, who down me out of nowhere, love to hate you) Good luck BG in tier 1!

SBI player here. Just wanted to say that I’m looking forward to playing against some new competition. It gets old playing against the same servers week after week. I can’t wait to see some different strats and possibly a more even playing field where the coverage isn’t so skewed.
