Probably not the first who gets this bug… I build on RAM and it happens more often when the ram is finished building. That’s when my character gets stuck for about 5 seconds before I can move my character. might not seem like a big deal, but when a zerg comes rushing towards you and you can’t move, that’s when WvW feels like a failure…

Swap weapons when getting stuck.

Ya Op this happens to me a lot too. Easy to say swap weapons but how about ANet actually fixes it instead?

Yeah weapon swap fixes it. It would be nice if they just fixed it themselves. (o.o)/

Swap weapons or swap kits (for eng) or swap elements (fore elementalist) to release from hold quickly. Mind you this is a code prob that Anet should have fixed a long time ago, but untill they do fix this follow the above example.

Im elementalist and haven’t fixed a secondary weapon… Probably should give “swap weapon” a go. Still hope they fix it soon -.-

Swapping attunements did not work for me.
Kits for engi did work.
And swapping weapons do work everytime.

i think pulling out a piece of siege then putting it away will fix it. I know it fixes the bug where your skill bar no longer works.

Anet wont fix it until 2016, be patient.

Do an emote if you are an ele. type /no and hit enter and you will be unstuck

kittened bug from 20 thousand years ago that hasn’t been fixed, so standard anet fare

Classes with 2 weaps can switch around,any other classes just use /dance or /sit emote.Also mobility skills,leaps etc will get you of it.Still an annoying bug though.

Working as intended…

Weapon swap or emote fixes this. If you can swap weapons that’s fastest. Otherwise /sit usually works on my ele or engie.

The player wrangler engine that locks your movement when building siege doesn’t know when to deactivate all the time. There ANET now you can fix it. I’d suggest removing it with movement cancelling build.

Lightning Flash works for ele, so maybe rifle 5 or Rocket Boots would work for engi – my engi’s still low level, so I haven’t tried.

I was on my necro the first time this happened to me, and I had no idea about weapon swap. I was stuck and a zerg came rushing in and I died and ended up res’ing in Lions Arch, so I lost my spot in WvW. I was furious and stayed away from WvW for about a month after that. ANet, really, fix it.

For me its more like 10s. It’s the only real way I end up dying in WvW so I’ve all but given up using supply out in the field. Yes I’m an Elementalist so I don’t have the option of switching weapons.
