Remove orbs or fix the cheats. Getting old. 5min Ago Crystal Desert just hacked the orb on dragonbrand borderlands. How long is this going to stay in the game arena.net?

Yeah one of my alliance members saw it happen on the map. He tried to get to hills and catch the guy on video and report it but he didn’t make it in time. I have to say sorry this happened, but all the servers have been doing it through this match. All I can say is that we just need to try to report these guys every chance possible. Don’t give the hackers the satisfaction of coming on the forums and laughing at everyone being kitten (Which you know they are doing and this is exactly what they want.

When making a thread about hacked orbs, make sure and explain what happened. Was it the flying hack?

The reason I say this is some people are claiming hacks when there are legit ways to release the orb without taking the castle. The quaggens lightning can destroy the altar thus dropping the orb on the ground too… etc.

It was definitely a hack Setch, my alliance member said the hacker was moving extremely fast from garrison to hills keep with the orb.

The best thing we can do, all three servers in this match (since the problem seems to be showing up all about), if to see if we can get the account name at the time to ensure that we’re all aware, that the players of the realms can keep an eye out for these people, and we all can report them.

Easier said than done, I know. But let’s all try to be vigilant and do our best to keep this the exciting match we’ve enjoyed so far.

Lets put it this way i’m a thief with 25% movement signet and bow teleport so i am not slow… and the orb went right over me and i never even seen it once and it didn’t stop for the keep wall it just went right on over it to the alter.

Hopefully someone was able to report the person via right click… but yeah, tough to catch the speed hackers because they are gone before you can react.

I wish I knew the backgrounds of the people who cheated in games. What kind of people are they? Low self esteem? High self esteem? lower class =?

ughhh…… this is really getting out of hands. and i’ve yet to hear anything regarding this from A-Net. not a single word.

I heard a word from Matt Witter earlier, he said they were working on better ways to report them… even acknowledged that it’s tough to click-report them due to the nature of the hacks. I know it’s only been a couple weeks, but I wish it’d get fixed fast… this game is too fun to let a minority ruin it for everyone.
