First off, I don’t know if this is the correct forum to be posting this in.

Anyway, I took the recently released poll about whether or not to keep the Desert Borderlands. I noticed the question wasn’t “should we keep the Desert Borderlands,” but rather “should we get rid of the Desert Borderlands?” Consequentially, the answer choices are “No, don’t get rid of them” and “Yes, get rid of them.” I fear this is potential for poll takers to select the opposite answer to what they actually think, possibly skimming over the question and answers, seeing “No,” and associating a negative response with Desert Borderlands, and therefore thinking they are voting to get rid of it but actually voting to keep it. I know a poll taker should read the full question and be sure he or she knows what he or she is answering. I thoroughly read the entire thing myself to be sure I was voting for what I truly feel. However, I fear that many people likely haven’t done this. I feel the question and/or answers should be revised to be sure that it is presented in the clearest manner possible, and therefore receive the most honest answers from the community.

No doubt the poll could have been phrased better but I think that the crash of WvW population after the new map was released back then was sufficient clarification of whether or not people liked that map.

I am a skim reader online – I cannot fully focus or concentrate on text on a monitor and frequently make reading mistakes.

Luckily, this poll I found absolutely clear and easy to understand which way to vote. I can’t in my mind, see any reason for anyone to get confused based on the way it is phrased throughout

Every poll anet has done people have complained over wording. I’d say this poll is the clearest one they have done. It makes perfect sense. If you’re not choosing correctly you can go and change your vote.

This is just because a bunch of people aren’t happy because the vote it going against what they want. So people naturally grasp at straws. Also this should be in the wvw section no?

Its pretty clear even glancing at it. As it stands the DBL is in the game and will be rotated in to replace ABL at some point. Therefore the poll reflects the current circumstances and what anet propose to do.

Here is a picture of the voting. I dont think you can make a mistake here…

New maps are welcome but tha desert bl was a huge misstake. That just does not work
