EDIT** good that it’s here it was deleted on reddit despite 120 upvotes and I was banned from talking again. Was interesting to get mauled to death by PvErs which I have nothing against…
Despite the sharp tone I will be using, this is not a thread about rage, more like a cry for help. All the QQ you can eat. I love this game and I love this gamemode (completely unique since DarkAgeOfCamelot is not a player on the market anymore), and it’s out of desperation that I’ve come here today
Please help us. Your WvW forums and WvW player-base need help
<>Because there are no/almost no posts from developers there (the new BL stress test does not count). And it’s been more than 2 years. (Shout-out to Stephanie tho for at least being active on the french wvw forum.)
<>Because golem week is doing a lot of damage to the “hardcore” player base (yes we exist Mike, full guilds, no we are not exceptions even if we have to spend 5 minutes in pve to then log into wvw).
<>Because golem week is exacerbating bugs that were already in the game, reported and documented, yet not patched.
<>Because we have a truckload of hackers that were reported over and over again with video proof for most, only to have our threads deleted and our emails met with the “we’ll look into it but we have lots of tickets” treatment.
<>Because we’ve been screaming for ages about the population problem (What impact do you think the new BL maps, twice as big as the current ones, will have on servers that can’t even field enough players to cover the current maps? Are you aware of what’s happening in tier 8/9 servers?)
<>Because all of this would matter less if we’d receive any form of official acknowledgement at any point from you guys. A “we’re working on it”, a “we’re aware of”. But no; just silence. Enough silence to let us all wander in dark places.
So in desperation I’ve come to a media that you do seem to look at, reddit.
If you decid(ed) to focus on PvE from the start or SPvP because of esports, that is your choice and we could respect that. The problem we have is the silent treatment we’re receiving even after so long and even after asking for replies from you.
You can still turn this around, but it will require dedication.
