The most ideal thing is to somehow remove the jump puzzle from wvw entirely. Since this this is part of the map, it might not be possible yet I think I have come up with a better idea.

The problem is many people who do these puzzles take up valuable pvp space while contributing little or nothing to the pvp scoring. This is a huge flaw that needs to end.

My solution is to include the jump puzzle in the scoring by adding land claim markers in it. These markers work much like the ones in the main battleground that spawn a veteran Charr guard. These won’t have guards and will only be worth a very small amount of points. They will offer some exp, karma and coin too.

The idea is to give a pvp purpose to the jump puzzle if it can not be removed. If people choose to do the puzzle or fight in that area, this is how they can contribute to the server. Winning spots in this area should have minimal impact on the fight overall, but at least there will be a real pvp purpose to it.

Just curious as to how it’s NOT contributing. I know I’ve gotten multiple golems from doing jump puzzles. It’s not like they take that long either – at a maximum of only TWO minutes.

So, why do you feel that it’s not contributing?
