My Dearest Love,

I hope this will find its way to you. Ever since our sons passed away in the war last year, I had been all alone in our old house in Queensdale. With the war raging around us, I decided to move into the garrison and they have been sieging it day and night.

I dream of you each night. The invaders from Dragonbrand are relentless. The Borlis Pass raiders have finally moved on to other lands, but the Isle of Janthir soldiers quickly moved in to take their place. I am unsure how much longer we can hold out. It feels like this war has been going on forever.

When are you coming home to me?

Ehmry Bay has not been the same ever since you left. Our sons both went to look for you and I received word that they were killed by our attackers. My days are filled with the constant sounds of explosions, and my nights are filled with tears.

Please come home to me.

I will wait here for you until my last breath. I hope that you are faring well. I fear that you too have gone the way of our sons. Though, I have not heard any news of your death, so I must assume that you are still alive. I hope. I pray. Please make your way back to me safe.
